Continuation of my Jarbyn one shot "Online Dating". Read it 😊❤️.

Jack just stared at the older in shock, not knowing what to say or do.

"Umm. It was nice meeting you, Jack. I have to go get my nephew now. He's waiting for me", Corbyn mumbled, avoiding eye contact with the younger.

He waited a couple of seconds for Jack to say something but the younger's mind was suddenly clouded. He couldn't speak or say anything.

"I-uh-okay", Corbyn said before turning around and slowly walking in the other direction.

"Wait!".

Corbyn immediately froze in his spot, slowly turning to face the other, muscles tense now.

"C-Can we talk?", Jack mumbled out and Corbyn stood still, encouraging the shorter to go on.

"I-I'm sorry", the brown eyed mumbled and Corbyn's eyes widened. The younger surprised him. First, he hadn't expected the other to stop him. Second, he sure as he'll didn't expect the younger to apologise, not when he hadn't gotten a single text from him in more than two weeks. The younger had probably left him on read every time he texted him since he never got a response or a text. He knew the other hadn't blocked him because he could still send texts. He figured the younger just never wanted to talk to him though because he thought he had made a mistake.

He looked up at Jack to see him looking back teary eyed. Hell, he wanted to have this conversation with the other but he needed to get his head straight first.

"Jack. I-", he started but Jack shook his head.

"No. Please listen to me. Just for a couple of minutes", he said.

Corbyn startled at the tone but didn't move. Jack took that as a sign to keep talking.

"Look Corbyn. I'm sorry", the younger said, taking a deep breath."I've been wanting to apologise for so long but haven't been able to. I chickened out and I even changed my number so you couldn't contact me. I know it was stupid of me but I just couldn't bring myself to call you. Feeling so embarrassed of what I had done to you. I ran away, leaving you confused. I know it was wrong of me. I should've just explained myself and I'm sorry for that. I'm so sorry".

Corbyn's eyes widened more as he finally understood everything. For the past two weeks, he had been thinking the younger hated him but it turned out he was scared. Of what...he had yet to find out but he was starting to understand the younger's unexpected reaction after the kiss.

"Hey hey", he said softly, moving towards the younger who took a step back, avoiding eye contact with him, causing him to freeze in his own steps."I'm not mad. Never was. I understand and it's okay".

Jack looked at the older and his heart flipped. He could still see the love visible in Corbyn's eyes just like two weeks ago when he had kissed him. He gulped, tears forming in his eyes.

"I don't think I deserve your forgiveness but-",he started, looking down again but this time Corbyn cut him off.

"No!", the older said and Jack flinched at the tone. Corbyn noticed and sighed, taking a deep breath.

"Hey. It's okay. I promise. It's all good", Corbyn said.

Jack looked at him again but this time didn't step back as the older slowly moved towards him. Instead, he buried his face in the other's shoulder as he wrapped his arms around the younger's waist and pulled him into a hug and started crying quietly.

"Hey hey. Shh. It's okay. It's okay", Corbyn whispered soothingly into his ear.

"How could I have been so stupid. I was so stupid. These past two weeks without you have been so difficult and I've missed you so much. I...", he started but cut himself off with his own sobs.

"Hey. Breathe. Breathe, baby. It's okay. I'm here", Corbyn whispered in his hair.

"I thought you hated me. I thought-", he started but was cut off once again when Corbyn pulled ba k slightly and cupped his cheeks.

"I don't. I could never", Corbyn said, wiping6hus tears away.

Jack swallowed as he looked up at Corbyn.

"Thank you", he mumbled out.

Corbyn just pulled him into another hug, wordlessly.

"I still need time", Jack mumbled when they pulled away.

"Of course", Corbyn nodded."Let's take it slow".

Jack smiled and took out a piece of paper and pen from his pocket, causing Corbyn to frown as he wrote something on it.

"Here's my new number. I'm case you decide to call me", the younger said, blushing slightly.

"Thanks", Corbyn said smiling as he pocketed it.

"See you around", Jack said nodding his head.

"See you around", Corbyn said smiling as he watched Jack walk away.

He sighed happily as he headed inside to find his nephew. He felt relieved with the fact that Jack didn't hate him and he would wait until Jack was ready to have him in his life. He could wait.

A/N:- Okay. Part 9. I know it's not that good but I hope you like it. Just don't tell me that Corbyn's an idiot for forgiving Jack that easily. Just wait. Anyways, Thank you for reading. Have a good day or night and Stay Blessed 😀💙. Love you guys :).
