Nobody's POV:-
Corbyn kicked at the pavement as he kept walking. He had no idea where he was going, he just wanted to get a breather from last night's incident. He knew Jack was drunk but he couldn't help but feel angry by the younger's actions. It was like he was playing games or something. He, of course was still hopelessly in love with the other but he couldn't afford another heart break. Hence, the distance.

He kept on walking until he neared the park at the end of his street, the same park him and Jack went to on their second date. He sighed as he sat on the bench and stared at the sky. Why couldn't the universe just let him be happy for once? He had gone and opened himself up again but ended up getting kicked in the face for his carelessness. Of course Jack didn't love him. Who would love someone like him? They just used him and threw him inside when he was of no use.

He sighed again. These negative thoughts weren't helping at all. He took out his phone and decided to call Daniel, his best friend. He picked up on the third ring.

"Hi Corbs! What's up?", his best friend's said through the phone.

"Hey", he said.

"Uh oh. What's wrong?", Daniel asked immediately.

"Can I come over?", he asked in barely a whisper.

"Of Course dude. Come on over", Daniel said."The kids miss their favourite uncle and besides I could use a break from all the nagging".

Hey, was heard from the background.

Corbyn let out a chuckle at that.

"Okay I'll be over in five", he said then hung up.

He sighed then got up, walking towards Daniel's house which wasn't that far away. He rang the bell once he reached and waited for someone to open up.

Daniel opened it, greeting him with his youngest in his arms.

"Hey. You were quick", he said.

"Yeah. Was in the park", Corbyn said as he entered.

Daniel nodded and lead him to the couch.

"Where's Zach?", Corbyn asked.

"Tucking Sarah in. She's been grumpy all morning", Daniel said, rocking Steve in his lap.

Corbyn nodded then looked around. The place was quite comfortable. Just then Zach came into the living room and softly kissed Daniel as he sat down beside him. Daniel and Zach had been married for 6 years now and sometimes Corbyn felt envious of their love, wishing he had someone like that too but everyone he had dated either dumped him or broke up with his sorry ass after playing with his feelings.

He was startled out of his thoughts with fingers snapping in front of his face.

"Hey. You still here?", Daniel asked and Corbyn nodded sheepishly.

"Yeah. Just thinking", he mumbled.

"About?", Zach asked.

"Jack", he said and then proceeded to tell them what happened last night.

"Okay look", Daniel started."I think you should keep your distance for now. Give him some time. From what you've told me, he's scared and isn't ready to commit again, yet. Just give him some time. He'll come to you when he's ready".

Corbyn looked at his best friend shocked.

"Wow. That was kinda...poetic", he said smirking.

"Shut up", Daniel said, glaring at him.

"Thanks", Corbyn said smiling a little. He was still a little sad but he did feel alot better after the conversation.

"Just take my advice", Daniel said, nodding as he placed his hand on Corbyn's shoulder.

"Will do", he said nodding before exiting and heading back to his own. When he entered there were no signs of Jack, meaning he was gone. Corbyn sighed and collapsed down on his bed., closing his eyes.
