"I'm ordering pizza for dinner," Clint said. "Normal orders?"

"Sure," I said. "I'll go see what Loki wants."

I got up and walked to the elevator.

"Friday, where's Loki?" I asked.

"In his bedroom, Miss," Friday replied. "Shall I take you there?"

"Yes please," I said.

The elevator rose and I stepped out of it when it stopped. I walked down the hall to Loki's room and knocked on the door. It opened after a few seconds. Loki had a scowl on his face, but it disappeared as soon as he saw me.

"Lady Y/n," he said politely. "May I help you?"

"You know you can just call me Y/n, right?" I said.

Loki smiled at me.

"Of course, Y/n," he said.

I smiled at him, and he smiled back. We stood there for a few moments before I remembered why I was there.

"Oh, right," I said, shaking my head. "We're getting pizza for dinner. What's your order?"

"My – my order?" he asked.

"Yeah," I said. "What pizza do you like?"

"I – I have never had... pizza before," he admitted.

I gasped loud enough that I was sure the Avengers heard me from the floors below.

"You've never had pizza before?" I whisper-screeched. "That is absolutely changing. I'll get an extra large of my order and we can share."

Loki looked confused for a moment before nodding.

"I, uh... do you want to come down and eat with us?" I asked. "I promise I'll make the Avengers play nice."

Loki hesitated before he smirked at me.

"You have that much sway over the Avengers?" he asked.

"Of course," I scoffed. "They fear me."

Loki chuckled. He paused before smiling at me again. He looked like he wasn't entirely used to it.

"I suppose I could," he said quietly.

"If you feel uncomfortable, just let me know and we can leave," I said.

Loki hesitated before nodding. I gestured for him to follow me, and we walked to the elevator.

"I do not mean to appear rude, but why are you being so nice to me?" Loki asked once we were in the elevator.

I shrugged.

"We're giving you a second chance, aren't we? If it were me in your position, I'd want the others to be nice to me," I said.

Loki stayed silent for the rest of the elevator ride. I assumed he was readying himself for facing the Avengers. When the elevator doors opened, everyone turned to us before going quiet. I glared at them all.

"Loki and I are gonna share a (favourite/pizza). Order an extra-large, please," I said.

"Will do," Clint said.

He picked up his phone and walked to the kitchen to place the order. Friday could have placed it, but Clint was avoiding Loki.

"So, uh, Loki..." Bucky began, trying to find words. "Do you like... knives?"

Loki cocked his head.

"Yes," he said.

The room stayed silent. Well, this was going fantastically.

"Let's put on a movie," I said. "C'mon, Loki. You can sit next to me."

Loki followed after me and I sat down on one of the two-person couches. He sat down right in the corner, and we all started arguing about what movie to watch, with Loki not saying a word, but watching the bickering.

"I vote we watch the dragons in training!" Thor exclaimed joyfully.

"How To Train Your Dragon?" I asked.

"Yes, that one!" Thor said. "Brother, it has Vikings! You remember the Vikings!"

"I do," Loki said.

"But Thor," Clint said, coming back into the room. "That's a kid's movie. My kids made me watch it about a million times in a row."

"Because it's a good movie," I said. "Play it."

Clint grumbled and rolled his eyes but sat down next to Nat.

"You'll love it," I whispered to Loki. "It's great."

Loki didn't say anything back and the movie began playing. Loki watched with great interest, and everyone else watched him with great interest. I glared at everyone until they focused their attention on the tv rather than Loki.

The pizza arrived fifteen minutes into the movie. Clint was voted to go and get it, seeing as he'd been complaining before. When he brought them up it was like a stampede as everyone tried to get their pizza. Natasha got hers first after she kicked Steve in the shin. I waited until after the onslaught to grab Loki and my pizza. I sat back down next to him and opened the pizza box, inhaling the smell. I took a slice and gestured for Loki to take one too. He did, and cautiously took a bite.

I could practically see the change in his eyes when he realised that pizza was the best. His eyes widened slightly as he chewed, and I nodded at him excitedly.

"Good, right?" I asked.

He nodded.

"It is very... flavoursome," Loki said.

I smiled at him and munched on my slice, turning my attention back to the television.

The rest of the night was actually alright. There was no hostility, and Bucky was able to ask Loki a better question than do you like knives.
