14. Detective Kim

Gabi na ng makarating kami. Hindi ko talaga inaasahang gagabihin kami bago kami tuluyang makarating rito. Pagkarating pa lamang sa loob ng Bahay ay sobrang linis niyon. I somewhat miss mi sister. Dito kami lumaki dahil halos itago kami ng aming magulang sa publiko. No one also knows who really we are. Napabuntong ako dahil sa bawat sulok ng Bahay naalala ko sila. This house has a lot of memories with my family.

Nagluto ako ng agahan kaagad dahil nalipasan kami ng gutom kanina. Although, my son eat so many chocolate when we are still on the highway. Buhat ni Asher si Celandine habang akay akay ang maleta na laman ang aming mga damit. Parang kubo ang Bahay pero hindi gawa sa kahoy. Kung titignan sa labas para lamang iyong inabandona pero kung nakapasok ka sa loob mapapanganga ka sa sobrang ganda ng ayos.

My parents doesn't want to tell how rich we are. They want it private. They want us a low profile. We didn't mind that though because when I was fifteen I guess, my father told me everything why they keep us secretly. I understand them as the eldest daughter. My parents also made it, to become one the top rank of the richest in world.

Matapos magluto ay tinawag ko na ang dalawa at sinabing kakain na kami. Bukas ko na lamang aayusin ang aming gamit. Nang sumapit ang alas dyes y media na ng gabi ay pinatulog ko na si Celandine. I take her to my sister's room. Doon ko Siya pinatulog. I smile sadly knowing that Celandine didn't know who really i am. I am afraid to tell him the truth that... I wasn't his real mom.

I also hire someone to look at this house before we left it here. Kàya hindi na rin ako nagtaka kung bakit sa tuwing uuwi ako rito ay sobrang linis ng Bahay kahit na wala kami ni Celandine. Also, ang taong naglilinis sa Bahay na ito ay hindi alam ang totoong pagkatao Namin.

"Mama?" Celandine call my name.

I smile and look at him. Celandine is my savior for everything that happened with my darkness past. He was the moon who will lightning my world and also, I am his earth. Although, Celandine is not my real son, I still see him as my own son and also my universe and so my future kids soon.

"What is it baby?" Pinahiga ko na Siya at kinumutan ang kalahati ng kaniyang katawan.

"Is it wierd to feel something strange?" Celandine looks so confused.

Umupo ako sa kaniyang tabi at hinaplos ang kaniyang mukha. Hindi ko makalimutan ang school mate Niya kanina ng ipakilala Niya sa akin. Alam kong alam Niya na may pagkakahawig sila pero ipinagsawalang bahala Niya iyon. I know my son, he is smart but he still silent.

"What do you mean baby?" I softly asked him.

Naninibago ba Siya na matulog rito? Nangbabahay? Hinahanap ang dati niyang room? I sight.

"I can't sleep here Mama. I feel like, I am longing for something. This is wierd Mama because this is the first time that I feel it. May problema po siguro Dito sa room."

Napabuntong hininga ako at hinalikan Siya sa noo. I also open the aircon na inilagay ko sa tamang temperature para hindi Siya gaanong ginawin kung sakali. I don't know what to say. Maybe, because this is his mom's room when we are both kids that time. I also switch the lamp shade beside of his bed.

"There's nothing wrong in this room, baby. You want mama to sing you a song or read you a bedtime stories?" I sweetly smile.
