We spent the rest of the week eating, and watching movies with nonna. So while it was rather uneventful, I had a blast. And even though I had a great time with Chris, and I was absolutely thrilled that my parents liked him, I was looking forward to go home.

The flight back was nice, giving me flashbacks of our first flight together. I laughed when I thought about it, and all the crazy things that happened since then.

He obviously asked me why I was laughing and I told him how the first time we were on a flight together I thought he was kinda creepy at first.

Safe to say he had a ball. I just laughed and rolled my eyes, but honestly I was happy with where we were.

When we touched down I was itching to get back to the house and rest. And that's what we did. Chris sped home and I ran through the house and to the bed. We spent the day napping and I was thrilled to be in my pajamas and in his arms.

"Chris?"

"Hmmm?"

He brushes his fingers through my hair. His eyes were still closed and I leaned up to give him a kiss.

"I love you."

He grins and opens his eyes.

"Really?"

"Mhmm."

"Like a lot a lot, or a little bit?"

"Mmm... Nevermind."

He laughs, "You love me huh?"

He tickles my sides and I nuzzles my neck with his nose.

"Do you love me Olivia?"

I gasp as I try to not laugh, "No!"

"I won't stop tickling you until you tell me the truth."

He digs his fingers into my sides.

"Do. You. Love. Me?" he asks in between kisses.

"Yes! Yes! I love you! So so much! I love you Chris."

He laughs and stops tickling me, "That's what I thought."

He kisses me again, pushing the hair I have in my face and tucking it behind my ear.

"Thank you for coming back to me," he rests his forehead against mine.

"I would have never forgiven myself if I didn't. You're everything and more Chris."

He hums and pulls me in, I place my head on his chest. His heart beating against my ear. Steadily and quickly.

"Thank you for coming with me, my parents really fell in love with you. Which isn't very difficult to be honest."

He laughs, his eyes crinkle and his lashes flutter as he looks back down at me.

"It was my pleasure. I'm really glad I got to meet your family. I feel like understand you just a tad bit better now."

"Oh really?" I lift an eyebrow at him. "Care to elaborate?"

"Well... You're emotionally reserved like your father. But once the trust is there, you open up. You're very caring like your nonna. And you speak your mind. And even if you don't think it's true, all eyes are on you... Just like your mother. Although her presence is commanding, you're captivating. I can never keep my eyes off of you."

I blush. He's right. I carry a little bit of each of them with me, whether I like it or not.

"And I understand why you don't go home more often... I don- I can't imagine growing up the way you did. But I'm glad you did."
