Gloria started roaming around Camp GodGold. Bitch had nothing else better to do and she really didn't want to stay in the cabin with Doofus. As far as she knew, Wyatt was doing the same thing. They really only wanted to stay in the cabin unless absolutely necessary. That wasn't good news for future Gloria though, considering she should try to avoid past Gloria at all costs. Whatever. Because she was alone, she figured it was fine to take off her awful disguise.
While roaming around in the awful environment that was Florida, she noticed a group of kids playing hopscotch in the dirt. Ew. Kids.
"Hi, guys! Can I join?"
One of the older kids, a nerdy looking one, turned around and scoffed. "Ugh! I think the fuck not, twerp!" Damn, he was using that language when he was like, what, 12? Moving on, the little bitch pushed the kid, who asked to join, back.
When the boy was pushed out of the group into the dirt, Gloria was able to see who it was. It was Boyd, wearing a Cabin 4 shirt. He sniffled and ran away to cry by a nearby tree. The group laughed at him just so the situation could be more tragic.
Her heart sank. She knew that Boyd was at the camp the first time around but she figured that he wasn't this time because she hadn't seen him until just now. It must've been one of those things that can't be changed in the timeline. Gloria slowly made her way over to Boyd first, squatting down so she was on his level. And yes, she put her disguise back on. She also made plans to beat up the kids that bullied him later. "Hey? Are you alright?"
Boyd was quick to wipe his tears away. "Y-yes..." He looked up at Gloria. "Who are you?"
"Oh uhh Gladis. What's yours?"
Boyd thought Gladis was a really stupid name but he was too polite to say anything.
He smiled warmly, though it was hard when he was still heartbroken from the other kids not wanting to play with him.
"Boyd. A definitely real boy." He knitted his hands together nervously. "Um... do you need something?" At this point it was pretty clear that not a whole lot of people were being very nice to him in the camp.
"Yes actually. Do you know Dr. Gearloose? He's been looking for you and he asked me to help."
Boyd's eyes lit up. "Dr. Gearloose?! You know him?!"
"Yeah!" She got up. "Okay, wait right here for me, Boyd, and I'll go and get him for you!" Gloria just assumed that Gyro would be in his cabin. What else would that loser be doing?
"O-okay!" Boyd was willing to wait as long as it took. Perhaps he trusted strangers a bit too much. He watched her take off in the direction of the Glomsquad's cabin.
When Gloria finally did show up at the cabin, she peaked her head into the window to see if they were in there. Ellie and Mark were gone and past Gloria and Gyro were both taking a nap. She grabbed a few pebbles and threw it against the window to try and get his attention.
It worked eventually and Gyro rolled his eyes when he saw her. How nice.
He practically stormed out, though he was polite enough to shut the door quietly.
"Are you insane?! I don't know what happened in the other timeline but it doesn't seem like you're helping so far! Everyone is confused because, you know, there are two of you. And now Ellie is constantly trying to kill past you. And if that happens, then future you won't exist! I don't know why you're trying to get her and Mark to be friends with you and I, but it's not working!" Damn. Gyro had a lot to say. "You better figure something out because I don't want you dying!"
