Chapter 80: It's Not Over Until I Say It's Over

"Dinner will be ready in a few minutes, you guys!" Abigail chimed.

The Glomsquad, which was now a shit load of people, were gathered at the table.

Glomgold was in the middle of nibbling on the table when he made eye contact with Ellie. He blinked one eye at a time before going into shock.

"OI! WHEN DID YOOH GET HERE, ROBO-BABEH?!"

"I have been here the entire time."

"Oh... I see..." He went back to nibbling on the table- no wait, he was nibbling on the silverware now.

"So" Gloria cleared her throat. "Gyro and I have some news. We decided that we're going to stay here... We're not going back to Duckburg with you guys. If anyone wants to stay here with us, you're welcome to do so!"

Everyone gasped in unison, except Glomgold.

"Pardon?! But, Gloria, we just reunited after not seeing each other after two years!" Ellie sounded heartbroken.

Heidi nodded. "Yeah, and why the hell do you want to stay in cowboy central? It's just a bunch of hicks."

Abigail gasped. She went ignored.

"B-but... our Minecraft realm..." Wyatt trailed off.

Nobody cared that they were never going to see Gyro again.

"I know... but we thought about it and we think it's the best thing for us. Duckburg is too chaotic at the moment... Does anyone want to stay with us? Ellie?"

Ellie and Mark looked at one another before bursting out in laughter like the bitches they were. Ellie was heartbroken, but the fact Gloria was serious was too hilarious.

"HAHA! Yeeeahhhhh we're good, Gloria! Have fun. PEW PEW PEW!" Mark shot finger guns.

Ellie continued laughing robotically. "I cannot pass up an oppurtunity to get away from Gyro for good. But do not worry, I will visit you."

"...like once every three years." Mark added.

Boyd stared at Gloria and Dr. Gearloose, frowning. "I'm sorry, Aunt Gloria, Dr. Dad... but I can't stay here either. I'll miss my friends... and the Junior Woodchucks."

"And I need to stay in Duckburg to continue helping out children at the hospital. They need as many nurses as they can get. I love my job..." Mia said.

Heidi nodded. "This place is cool, but I'll miss my bike."

Mia gave her a look.

"And my girlfriend." Heidi added.

No one cared about Kyle but he spoke up too. "I must stay with my family."

Glomgold looked at Gloria, silverware still in his mouth. "I'LL STAY WITH YOOH! I LIKE MEH COWBOY HAT!" He pointed to it before swallowing the metal in his mouth.

Glomgold was Gloria and Gyro's problem now.

"Yeah! I'll stay too!" Steelbeak gave a thumbs up. "I can always write letters to Kyle, and this place reminds me of my childhood!"

"I'm g-glad they can s-stay because I c-can't either. I n-need to continue to manage our r-realm." Wyatt whispered. "I p-promise to take care of your livestock."

Now Gloria was upset. "Well shit... I'm going to really miss you guys." She looked over at Gyro, already having second thoughts. "I know it was a really hasty decision but-"

"Dinner will be ready soon!" Abigail shouted from the kitchen.

"I can help, Ms. Abigail!" Boyd quickly got out of his seat, walking over to her.
