Ellie looked outside the limousine window. She hadn't been in Duckburg for a long time and already things were different. New construction, etc. You know, city stuff.

Escape was closer than ever, yet her hope remained low.

From what she knew, she was just being taken to another facility with even more security. Plus Kyle still scared the hell out of her.

Eventually they pulled in front of Funzo's Funzone. Yes, the car drove onto the boardwalk. Ellie's face scrunched up and she turned to look at Kyle.

"Kyle... aren't you a little old for this?"

He may have scared the hell out of her, but Ellie couldn't help but question him.

He laughed. "No no we're not here to play arcade games." He wanted to after the F.O.W.L meeting though. Or just crawl around in the ball pit for an hour. "My meeting is inside here. Just follow along unless told otherwise. From now on, you report to anyone inside F.O.W.L."

That didn't make Ellie too happy. She already hated Bradford and she could only assume she was going to hate everyone else since these were Kyle's new colleagues. She nodded her head anyway and picked up Kyle to place him on her shoulder. People would definitely step on him on the boardwalk if she didn't do otherwise. Kyle wouldn't die though, he would just get pissed and blame it on her like the bitch he was.

Once inside Funzo's Funzone a man in a costume waved them over before leading them to a backroom to take an elevator down. Who knew a children's play place was a villainous epicenter all along. Ellie began to regret bringing Boyd here all that time ago.

Bradford was there to greet them immediately once the elevator doors opened. "Welcome Kyle, it is so good to have you here."

Ellie immediately scowled when he didn't greet her. Impolite ass bitch.

"Good to see you, too, sir!" Kyle smiled when he saw that there was a cute little cockroach size chair for him! Groovy! His chair was next to a large and beefy rooster with a steel beak. Huh... I wonder what his name is...

Kyle made his way to his new chair and sat down. It was super comfy and it even had a cup holder attached to it! Man, this organization really knew its hospitality!

Ellie noticed there wasn't a chair for her. They probably wouldn't even let her take part in killing people either. This was bullshit.

"Kyle, meet our team." Bradford gestured to the table. "My teammate Black Heron," He gestured to her and she smirked maliciously. "Phantom Blot, Gandra Dee, John D. Rockerduck and his baby, Jeeves. And last but not least, Steelbeak." Bradford's weird brothers or something were there too but no one cared about them.

Kyle waved at all of them like he was the new kid in school. "Hello. I'm Kyle."

"Hiiiii Kyleeeeeeee." Everyone said in unison as if it was an AA meeting.

Bradford looked over at Ellie. "Our meeting has just started. Leave." He pointed to the exit. What a nice guy.

Ellie glared at him before doing what he said. What was she supposed to do now? Just walk around? That was fucking stupid. She decided on finding someplace to sit and read something in her data before being ordered to serve twinkies or whatever.

Eventually she came across a break room with no one inside. Did anyone else other than the main members work there? Or was it because it was a Saturday? Either way, Ellie didn't give a shit and she sat down at the table to begin reading a biography on Mozart.

Homegirl got to the part where she was learning about Mozart's childhood when she heard a large crash and the door swinging open. It was a small girl with an orange outfit and egg helmet on. She was carrying stacks of papers and other office supplies in her hands but immediately dropped them all when she saw Ellie in the room.
