Ch 15. Double Vision
Pt. 1 How it All Begins
I grinned as I out ran all the security systems. If it weren’t for Lucario, this company might never get away with anything. I ran into the testing area. I then realized another wise crack, even though it was only thought, failed utterly.
I was surrounded. Joy. I sighed. ”All right, guys. We can do this one way or another. Which would you rather take?” No one responded. ”Doesn’t matter, cause they both end with your buts kicked.”
I snapped, and Adrian landed in the middle of them. Nelly swooped in and charged up. Harper stood next to me. We all stood together.
”Check.” I added.
After an extended scene of combat and violence nobody really needs to care about, Only a few still stood. One pulled out a special gun, and fired. We dodged, but as I ran off, I felt a dart hit my leg. I fell, and plucked it out. It was one of the mutagen darts they used. Not that it mattered. I was already a pokemon.
At least I hoped it didn’t matter.
I kind of slipped away, and started my com link.
”Hey, Doc?”
”Yeah, Todd?”
”You know those darts that these guys use? What would happen if one hit one of us?”
”I suppose it would keep you in pokemon form for a while if it hit you while you were human. Why?”
”Uh, nothing.”
We got back to Doc’s house. I was feeling stiff, and decided to lay down. But first…
”Todd, are you alright?” Doc questioned.
”Yeah, why?”
”You haven’t um…un-morphed.”
”Oh. Yeah.” I did and went to lie down.
”Um, Todd?”
”YES?” I asked, kind of frustrated.
”Well, you might want to look.” She held up a mirror.
”YAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed, falling. What!?!? Why was I covered in spikes? This had never happened!
Switch POV to Lucario
I investigated the scene, and saw a small dart that interested me.
I showed it to the man in charge of DNA research. I told him the security cameras saw it hit the boy. He smiled.
”Yes…perfect.” He placed in a case and carried it to his office.
Later, he came to me to show me something. I followed. I walked into the laboratory. He brought me to a pod.
”I have created something with this sample. Something to destroy them for good.” He pressed a button. His aura had an alarming joy to it. The pod slowly opened. I saw a figure, then saw it clearly. It was the boy, but wearing a solid black shirt and pants. His emotionless face showed only one sign- hatred.
”Behold…the dark side of Todd.” The eyes opened, and instead of Todd’s normally blue eyes, cold grey eyes stared me down. It smiled.
It spoke in it’s emotions. Hello, Lucario…are you ready to watch your enemies fall?
