Ch. 22 Letting Loose
I got to my house as quickly as possible, and completely had forgotten Adrian. As we approached, I could tell there were problems. Namely a broken door and a couple holes in the side of the house. I didn't know what could be happening.
I ran even faster.
I burst inside and frantically looked around. Not that I had to look around much to locate the problem. In the main room stood about 50 robots and drones. And in the back of them, was...
"MOM!!" I cried. She looked up.
"Oh, uh hi Todd, um, this is a pretty good time."
I guess you know where I get my sense of humor.
"Mom, I..."
The robot from when I had first had these problems was there.
"You."
Hello, Todd. It's been awhile.
"Let...her go."
Hmm, no jokes? Interesting. You seem a little frustrated.
"Really? What tipped you off?" I growled.
This attitude is unlike you. I like it. Maybe we should experiment with that.
A needle was stuck into Mom's arm."NOOOO!!!!!" I screamed. Nelly and Harper leaped into action. Mom dropped.
I stood. Shook. Growled.
"No." I thought.
I lifted up my eyes. "Rage."
The robot turned to me.
I morphed back and screamed.
"RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
(Yes, I know Sandslash can't learn this move.)
I charged into battle, anger the only thought in my mind. I destroyed robot after robot, and continued to do it.
Eventually I turned to the mysterious robot. I swung a claw to destroy.
My arm stopped in mid-swing.
"Huh?"
"Todd."
"A-Adrian."
"Not now. You know that."
I calmed. Then collapsed.
