I opened Adrian’s door. And no one was there.
”Uh, Doc? Did Adrian go out or something?”
”Not that I can think of, Todd. What’s going on?”
”I, uh-”
The pokedex began beeping rapidly.
”Todd, we’ve got an emergency.”
”Yeah. I couldn’t tell from the loud, obnoxious red beeping device.”
I got down into the makeshift mission room. Harper and Nelly were already there.
”All right,” Doc explained, ”the pokedexes have picked up a mutagen signal from…193 Desert Street.”
What? WHAT!?
”Doc. 193 Desert Street is my address.”
She stared at me, worry on her face.
”Marcus is after my mom.”
