Pt. 2 Light and Dark

POV: Dark Todd

I had to break them up first. Divide and conquer as they say. I already had confronted Adrian, and successfully upset Nelly.  Harper remained, and I new I needed to make her uncomfortable. I got to talking. This would be so easy…

Switch to POV: Todd

I awoke from my rest, and went to the mini bathroom we had in Doc’s house. The spikes had only gotten worse, and I decided I would have to see Doc about a cure.

I went out and Nelly was the first one I saw. ”Hey, have you seen Doc? Nelly?” I realized she was crying. ”Hey, what’s going on? Are you-”

”Why? Why did you do that to me?”

”What? What do you mean? I didn’t do anything to you!”

”Just leave…leave me alone, you…jerk.” The last word hit my heart like a dart. She was only 8 years old! What could I have done to her…

Harper reacted similarly. Only she called me sick, crazy, etc. I went to Doc and she told me she was working with the cure. I decided to mention it to her.

”No, I can’t imagine why they would be doing that. You’re sure you didn’t do anything?”

”All I did was sleep! And they’re acting like I killed their best friends!”

”Well, I set the lab up with a security system. Let’s check that.” We viewed. I saw Nelly come in and go where we slept for a moment, then came out. I was there.

”Wait a minute! I was never there! I was getting to sleep at that exact time!” We kept going at one point, the ”me” leaned in towards the camera.

”Hold it! The eyes! My eyes are blue, but those are a thick gray! He’s also not as dashingly handsome.” I winked, and Doc groaned.

Just then, We got an alert on our pokedexes. I sighed. ”I’d better go. Get the others, okay? I don’t think they would take my side if it would save the world.”

”It just might…” I heard her mutter. ”It just might.”

Switch POV to Dark Todd

He was here. I could feel it. Now we could begin.

Back to Todd

I ran past security systems for the second time in two days, but it was alone. The others hadn’t come soon enough. I ran and found myself in a room with Dark Todd.

He didn’t say anything, but quickly attacked. He went faster than me, and I was soon slammed into a wall.

”Well,” He laughed, ”That went over quickly.”

Suddenly, A wall burst as Adrian jumped in, followed by Nelly and Harper.

”What! Why would you come!?”

Adrian laughed. ”A: I knew you weren’t Todd, and B: If I did, I would have admired him for growing a backbone.”

”I heard that!” I grunted.

They all jumped at him. Unfortunately, he was incredibly skillful, and I watched helplessly as he dispatched Nelly and Harper, and slowly wore Adrian down. He stopped, and Adrian approached to hit him, but collapsed in exhaustion. We were all down. None of us could fight, had the will to.

Or did we?
