|Chapter fifty seven|

"Sorry you had to see us, in um—"

"A compromising position?" Aaron's grandfather suggested as we walked in the backyard on the fresh and neat lawn. I moved slowly, matching my pace with him.

On seeing Aaron's grandfather; Aaron, Robert and him all looked like an older version of each other. Although there were clear differences between Robert and Aaron's grandfather. One thing was very common in all three of them which was the intimidation. But one thing stuck out the most to me was that Aaron's grandfather and Aaron had the same deep ocean blue eyes.

"Yeah," I answered shaking my head. "Mr Walker—"

"Uh please call me Charles or Charlie. Although I prefer Charles." He chuckled in the end. "You might not know but Aaron have actually mentioned you quite a few times Skyler." I was slightly shocked to hear that. "He visited me half a month ago in England and he talked a lot about you. I'm glad that he found a friend other than Ashton." Aaron visited him in England? Well we were not talking half a month ago, so he might have.

"I hope he told better things only," I chuckled, "well he have mentioned about you too. He would tell me his childhood stories about how you two would hangout and have so much fun."

"Oh yeah those were the days. Now he's a grown up boy–a bad boy to be exact." He high-fived me laughing.

"He really cares about you though."

"I couldn't tell since he hasn't visited me in such a long time other than just half a month ago."

"I visited you twice. What are you talking about old man?" Aaron said with Max in his hands and I immediately got scared on seeing him. "Don't worry Muffin. I won't leave him down considering how he doesn't really like you." I fake smiled at him.

"Aaron Melvin."

"Grandpa, please call me Aaron. Not Aaron Melvin." Aaron grinned giving his grandfather a hug. "I didn't think you would be here. I thought you were in England only."

"I was travelling actually and then fell a bit sick so I held off my plans and decided to stay here for a bit. Any reason you planned to visit?"

"Actually we came here to have some fun in forest and by the river and also to attend the river town festival. We were supposed to stay at one of my friends house but that was under some renovation so I brought everyone here to stay."

"That's nice of you. Well don't you wanna introduce me to your rest of the friends?"

"Yeah sure."

Aaron put Max in its house and walked back inside the hall where everyone was gathered around sitting on their places talking.

"Everyone this is my grandfather." Aaron introduced Charles.

Everyone said 'hello hi' to him.

"Call me Charles everyone. Enjoy your trip and stay comfortably here. I feel tired so I'll be in my room down the hall. If you need anything ask me or Aaron."
