|Chapter thirty five|

God the freaking Aaron Walker is a major pain in my butt!

I hate him so much.

That guy will be death of me someday.

He's so so so damn annoying.

I hate that guy, I despise him, I—

"What's gotten into you Skye? I was calling your name for so long and you didn't hear me." Jacob said as he greeted me in the library.

"I was craving for some peace but that doesn't seem to happen, now does it?" I bluntly said.

He raised his eyebrows. "What shit are you even talking about?" He laughed.

"Yeah, now I am talking shit." I muttered. "By the way, what're you doing here? Library doesn't seem like your style."

"It isn't Skyler. I came here to get some book Bryce asked me to bring for him and when I came here I saw you and I thought to say hello to you but you were zoned out. And that zoning out was a long ass one."

"Whatever."

"Well that's my cue to leave. I'll see you around, huh?"

I gave him a tight smile as I saw him walking away.

I sighed and leaned back into my seat.

Should I go and tell him that okay, I agree to your stupid plan? Or should I let him be like no way I'm agreeing to this?

God! Help me!

In a way I obviously want my grades. No way I'm letting them down. And to keep my grades up I need to go and agree to his whatever plan so that I ace the presentation.

God why that guy is so stubborn? He never understands my things.

Sighing, I got up from there and headed to the stairs where we previously met.

I was climbing the stairs when I saw the devil himself walking down those stairs.

"Whoaaa, Skyler Grayson, the peacemaker is back." He said with smirk. I glared at him.

"So you agreed to accept my decision?" He said leaning by the banister of the stairs, folding his arms over his chest.

Something changed in my mind and I wanted to tell him that whatever he asks for won't get to him that easily everytime.

Somebody has to push his ego down right?

"Uh..no.."

"Then what're you doing here?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Uh...here...m-my ear rings fell somewhere here, so I-I was just looking for them."

Ear rings? Really?

Couldn't have come up with a better excuse?

I pretended to look for my ear rings over there. God! Seriously? That was the stupidest thing I've ever came up with.

"All the best with searching." I heard him mutter as he started walking down.

Yeah! Just leave from here.

But is my life that easy? No way!

As I was looking for them my foot immediately slipped and I was about to fall down when a warm arm slid under my waist holding me firmly.
