I've given away my soul to someone who treats it as if it were a flower to put in his coat, a bit of decoration to charm his vanity, an ornament for a summer's day.

|Chapter twenty four|

"Come on Skye! You're not going to stand there forever. Just trust me and get in. The water isn't even cold."

I still wasn't convinced.

"You are so irritating!" He said splashing the water.

"Oh I think that's you!"

"I'm coming up."

He came up where I was standing in his tshirt.

"Look, now all you have to do is take a deep breath, close your eyes and jump. That's it. It's so easy, c'mon we gotta do this." He told me as if I were some 5-year old kid.

I gave him a glare, ofcourse still not convinced.

He sighed, "Muffin, do you trust me?"

"No." I shook my head.

"Good, now let's jump."

"Do I really have to do this?" I groaned.

"Yes!" He said excitedly where I couldn't match his excitement.

"Know that if I die after this then I'm gonna kill you." I said pointing my finger at him.

He chuckled, "sure now let's go."

"1...2—"

"No!"

"Aaargh! Now you better jump willingly otherwise....." He gave me an evil smile.

"Otherwise what?"

"I'm sure you don't wanna know about it and I'm okay with it so let's go."

I sighed, "it's nothing Muffin. I just jumped in front of you and I am completely fine and so will be you. So stop being a baby and let's jump."

"Fine....."

He gave me a smile and held my hand sending weird sensations up and down my body, his hand was warm.

"1...2...3!"

And we jumped.

I gasped as I got into the water. And damn! The water was actually freezing but at the same time it felt really good, the feeling of let loose.

"You dimwit! You lied to me. It's freezing in here." I pushed him roughly.

"That's the fun in there Muffin." He laughed.

We kept on floating in the water and kept looking at each other keenly without blinking eyes. I was having a proper look at him where my eyes were mainly fixated on his eyes. I adore his eyes so much, how they were deep blue in colour almost resembling like the water. It's a blessing to him which I wish I had unlike my full brown eyes.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked him moving my hands trying to hold myself up instead of drowning.

"Do I even have a choice?"

I grinned. "Who do you love the most in the world?"

"Isn't it's obvious? Myself."

Of course.

"Oh come on there have to be someone."

"Eager to know whether I love you or not Muffin?" He smirked.
