I felt my existence was tainted in a subtle—but essential way

|Chapter forty three|

It was a weekend finally after the hectic days. And currently we were all at my house gathered here.

Everybody knows that we're gathered here for Ryan to propose Mae but Mae had no idea about that, of course. We told her that we all are gathered here to watch FIFA together and to hangout like usuals. And today actually there was a FIFA match which just happened to be a plus point for us. But as the main purpose was of proposing, so without her even knowing I had to made her wear a dress to which she was confused as to why and of all the people I was asking her to wear a dress; but somehow I managed her to get into a dress. She was wearing a white dress which was a bit above her knee and she looked stunning in it. Well she looks stunning in every kind of outfit.

And well, talking about my outfit then I was in a black strap top with a blue denim jacket over it and had blue denim jeans beneath it. I also had a black cap and my hair were in a straightened form.

Ryan wasn't here yet as he had went to buy some flowers and stuff. Mae did ask me if I knew where he was but I just replied with 'nah I don't know where he is'. She also mentioned about him ignoring her for about a week to which I just internally smiled and I was like 'oh my god she has no idea what's coming for her'. I'm dying to see the reaction on her face when Ryan will propose her.

I might cry, you never know.

Cedric was here today. Cedric helped me a lot to get done with the preparations for this proposal for which I was very thankful because the rest of the guys left the hard part on me.

Jerks.

Talking about Jerk.....

Aaron was with Ryan and they were bringing the flowers and the gifts or whatever and the rest whole gang was here.

Dad really wanted to see Ryan proposing Mae but he had work so he couldn't be here but still he asked me to document it and I was like, 'duh dad, obviously I'm going to document it'. Chase was here and he was so bored with all this, ah boy.

We were all in the living room talking randomly when I heard the doorbell ring and I knew this has to be Ryan and Aaron.

I walked to the door and opened it revealing Aaron in his casual black leather jacket, white t-shirt beneath it and black jeans and Ryan who was wearing a black tux and lettme me tell you he was looking handsome. He is handsome, like real handsome and hot.

"Ready?" I asked Ryan and couldn't stop smiling.

"Yup. Looks like it but I'm damn nervous."

"I can see that." I reached forward to pull him into an embrace. "Don't worry." I squeezed his shoulders before pulling back.

He entered the hall and stood right in the middle of it so the the rose petals could fall directly on them.

I know it's cliche but can't help it.

I had kept my camera on a tripod stand and had started the recording. Everything was ready.

I looked at Ryan for his approval to call Mae or not and he nodded nervously.

"Mae! Mae! Can you come out here in the hall?" I yelled.

"Yeah." She yelled back and came in here followed by everyone.

She gasped when she saw Ryan in all his gentleman tux glory, a single elegant yellow rose in his hand which are the favourite flowers of Mae. She was pretty confused.
