|Chapter ten|
After my such a hectic class I headed towards the parking lot where I saw Aaron leaning against his bike typing on his phone.
As I neared him he looked up and smiled at me before glancing down at his watch. "Took you long though."
"And I appreciate that you were actually waiting for me. I thought you were only lying to me about meeting you after school. But you actually kept your words."
He smirked. "After all, I'm a man of my words."
I smiled at him.
"So....Where are we heading to?"
"You suggest." He crossed his arms.
"Um, Let's go bowling." I said excitedly.
"Bowling?"
"Yes." I confirmed. "You know, lanes a sort of heavy ball which you throw and—"
"I know what bowling is, Muffin." He said putting his phone in his jeans pocket.
"Well, I wasn't sure about that. 'Cause all you ever do is smirk and ride a bike."
"Whoa, I'm impressed. So you notices me, huh? I like it."
"Well, it's the basic thing about you." I shrugged. "And I can read you like an open book."
I can't.
He took a step closer to me his breath almost fanning my face.
"Oh really? No one can ever read me like an open book Muffin. And even if anyone can, then only Ashton can.""Hm your best friend." I nudged him smiling.
"Unfortunately."
"You still love him."
"But I won't ever say it to his face." I grinned at this. I adore their friendship. "And even if you want to read me like an open book, first you need to be my mate. Not mate, but my best mate which will take a lot. Like a lot a lot."
"As if I'm dying to be your best mate", I snorted. "Just let the way it is. And for now, let's go bowling."
He sighed. "My innocent Muffin, don't want to see my dark side. And I'm actually glad that you don't want to. 'Cause not many people can appreciate that side of mine. Anyway, about the bowling thing, it's a no."
"Okay, first you tell me to suggest something and when I do that you deny that."
"Yeah because I only asked for your suggestion, I didn't say that I'll immediately take action on it." He defended himself.
"C'mon! Let's just go bowling instead of wasting time like this."
"We are not going bowling." He said sternly.
"Why? Scared that you may lose? Come on Aaron, at least keep your hopes high and try." I smirked.
"Oh please. It's nothing like that. And I don't want to repeat myself but I'm saying again, that we're not going to bowling."
I put my hands on my sides in exasperation. "Why not?" I whined.
"Because you're coming over my place."
I stared at him blankly. His house where he brings stupid girls over and I'm definitely not one of them. Don't he have some other girl to take along with him?
