Some people grumble that roses have thorns. I'm thankful that thorns have roses.

|Chapter eighteen|

AARON'S POV—

After Skyler told me to ask Austin myself, I was determined to go and ask him myself. Part of me knew, deep down what he did, but I didn't want to admit it to myself. The second she said she was surprised he hadn't told me, I was almost certain.

As I was going back to my home I looked for that guy everywhere but didn't found him anywhere. I passed through sweaty bodies upstairs looking for him everywhere but I couldn't find him which got me super annoyed. My phone buzzed and I got a message.

Austin—
Sorry bro, I just got a call from dad. He needed me, so I went. I'll see you later probably.

How could he go like this? I was determined to talk to him but what the fuck now?

I was fuming with anger as I marched outside and thought this party was enough now.

"Party's over guys! All can go!" I shouted. Some didn't budge from there but when they looked at me with my fuming anger they immediately walked away. I saw Ryan walking towards me.

"What happened dude?"

"Nothing just thought this party was enough now." I said bluntly.

He didn't seem to believe it but still walked away bidding me goodbye.

I really need to talk to Austin.

~SKYLER'S POV—

"Oh shut up Drew."

"What? It's the truth. I never thought you would turn down a party."

"Well then probably you never knew me." I said into the phone while folding my clothes and keeping them in my closet systematically. I was just cleaning the room when Andrew called me.

"Okay okay, I know you enough to know that you don't like partying but you should have come. It was so much fun." Sure it'd be fun with Aaron and Austin, huh.

"Anyway, I will talk to you later Skye. I gotta go to gym."

"Your workout doesn't show off Hutchins." I chuckled.

"Excuse me Grayson?"

"Excused."

"You don't wanna deny those awesome abs I've."

"Sure sure."

"What? I'm serious."

"Okayyyyy! Bye." With that I hang up on him.

The next week passed by in a flash of an eye. Thankfully I didn't come across with Austin or Aaron in school. I did see Aaron but I would immediately turn away not wanting to talk to him or anything. And I didn't see Austin in school the whole week. So was he joking with me about him shifting here? I hope, he was joking.
Everyday, I noticed Aaron would show up after school talking to Ashton and watching me from his motorcycle with a blank expression.
Stalker.

And talking about Ashton, he joined our school at the starting of the week.

It was Friday today and right now, it was a movie night and like every other weekend me, Mae and Ryan were watching a movie.

Ryan stuffed his mouth with popcorn and I smiled at him.
Don't they behave like child? Can you actually believe they're 17?

Apparently, no one was watching the movie because Mae and Ryan were again talking—arguing—about some youtuber. And I wasn't paying any attention to it because it seemed super boring to me.
