Me to myself: please stay calm.

|Chapter sixteen|

What in the world was happening with me?

I tried not to be too shocked by his presence and got up straightening myself. I sighed, "yeah! Actually long time no see. But you know what? You were atleast expecting to see me but I wasn't." I said harshly.

"Oh really?" I nodded as he took a step towards me where he was almost towering over me. "Well lettme tell you that as much as I was just expecting to see you; I actually genuinely wanted to meet you. You remember George's party? Oh what am I even asking. Of course you remember, I mean how can you forget that party right?" I tried to glare hard at him when I knew that deep down on talking about that party, memories were reviving in my mind and I still hasn't recovered from that incident. "I really had fun that day. And I'm assuming that you also enjoyed the party, right?"
He smirked at me as he trailed his finger over my cheekbone and I felt a shiver down my spine. Before I could speak, he cut me in between. "And even though if you didn't enjoy the party then the part where I fucked you, I assume you enjoyed that the most, right?"

I lost it.

I legitimately lost it.

I couldn't control it.

I didn't even want to control it in the first place but I was just trying to show him that whatever he did to me doesn't really affect me even though I only know how much impact it has on me. At the moment I felt like somebody had wrapped an iron chain around my neck and was pulling it tightly. My throat was dry by now.

Even after all this, I tried to put a fake façade on my face.
"Lettme tell you Steven, whatever happened, happened. And it's better if we don't talk about that night. Because apparently, if you talk about that, then I'll make sure that you regret it." I took a step back and rubbed my cheekbone immediately.

"Wow, is that a threat Grayson?"

"It's actually a warning."

"Look, I don't care about your feelings just like I didn't care that day." That party made me stubborn not to go to another one that's for sure.

"Of course you don't care, I know. But anyway, what're you doing here?" I said faking a smile.

"I actually came all the way from New York just to see you."

What the fudge?

Really?

My eyes widened at this and a shiver ran down my spine.

He noticed my expression and laughed. "Just joking around Skyler. Actually we're shifting here."
Wait—WHAT!?

That's so not happening!!

"And apparently, I'm planning on taking admission in this school to complete my graduation."

Breath literally knocked out of me.

He took a step closer to me leaning down and whispered in my ear, "and I'm here to make your living life a complete hell." With that he walked away as the bell of the first period rang and children came out of their classes making the hallway crowded with a cacophony of voices.

Everybody were moving around me but I didn't have the courage to do that. I stood firmly at my place trying to keep myself steady even though I knew that I couldn't, because I......was about to faint.
