of flowers and poetry.

|Chapter two|

The hell just happened?

I couldn't settle for movies like normal people huh? Something always had to happen with me. I know I was partially at fault for bumping into him and breaking his phone but so was he and if he couldn't show any remorse about it then why should I.

I was so not in the mood for a movie anymore plus the fact that I had missed the most of it made me more biased towards not going to the theatre.

Also have none of my friends realised that I went to get popcorn and haven't returned back yet? Something really serious could have happened to me and none of them were bothered about it. That made me feel so low and was so out of it. Still I got in the theatre and found my seat which was right beside Mae.

"Took you long enough to get stupid popcorn," she almost whispered to me. She reached her hand to my side looking for something and when she couldn't find anything she looked at me. "I don't think you did a good job at that though. Seriously you were there to get popcorn for an hour and you came back empty handed?" She said in disbelief.

"Shit happened," I spoke a bit loudly as people from the surrounding hushed me.

"What happened?" Mae asked looking serious.

"Will tell you later."

I managed to sit through the rest of the movie trying to connect the dots of what was happening in here even though I didn't even know the movie's name. I tried focusing at the movie yet my mind somehow kept going back to what had happened. I couldn't get those stupid emotionless blue eyes out of my head. Something was so intimidating about him. I could still feel his grip on my arm.

Finally what felt like an eternity the movie came to an end and I'll tell you it was the shittiest movie ever. It had so much sex and fighting. That was all in there nothing else. Probably that's why Carter was so eager to watch this crap.

"Dude it was fucking awesome!" Andrew high-fived Carter.

"I know right and turned out he only ends up killing her. Like what a tragic love story," Carter said.

Love story? All I found in the movie was porn bruh.

"What took you so long Skyler?" Ryan asked me walking beside me as we headed to a cafe.

"Ugh as if drama loves me that's what happened," I groaned.

"Oh no. What happened now?" He merely laughed. I've always had so many embarrassing moments in my high school that I don't get surprised anymore if something new happens like today.

We entered the cafe and took our usual table with Mae and Archie on my either side.

"So?" Mae ushered me to tell further.

"Okay," I heaved a huge sigh, "so after I got my popcorn I was walking back when I bumped into some random guy which made my popcorn fall on the floor and his phone broke too. I said I was sorry about everything yet he had the audacity to be extremely rude and say mean things to me."

"I mean Skye you broke his phone." Ryan stated in a duh tone.

"I know but I apologised genuinely and then we got into a stupid argument and people were also gathering around and it was all so embarrassing. It really pissed me off I tell you." I reasoned pushing my hair back.
