Chapter 58-A Rough Day

After some time had passed, the trio finally reached their headquarters.

Eun Hye and Nick were surprised to see different gadgets, costumes and many monitors placed in the room. It was as if they were shooting a movie.

'Take a seat,' the Boss instructed.

Following the Boss' instructions, they sat down on a couch.

'As you know, we are now in charge of the S company,' the Boss let out a chuckle.

'Yes,' Eun Hye and Nick nodded in sync.

'So, we have to spread this piece of news as soon as possible,' the Boss commanded.

'Wae?' Nick asked.

'If people know there are new successors, reporters will come flowing in. We will gain popularity and people will then want to work with us. Better still, we can make it to the headlines. In that way, we can earn more money for our next plan.
Anyway, people will find out in due time,' the Boss gave a long explanation.

'I see,' Nick responded.

'So why are you guys still sitting here? Get on your feet and get to work!' the Boss shouted in frustration.

(In Seoul Hospital...)

Ji Hyo quickly rushed to the information counter to inquire where which ward her father was at.

After getting the information she needed, Ji Hyo bolted to her father's ward with all her energy, and the rest of the members behind her.

Upon reaching Mr Song's ward, Ji Hyo's suspicions were further confirmed. Mr Song had indeed passed away.

'No!!!' Ji Hyo kneeled down on the floor while removing the blanking that was covering her father's dead body.

Everyone was stunned by Ji Hyo's sudden strong reactions, after paying their respects to Mr Song at the side. Gary ran up to Ji Hyo and attempted to console her.

'Ji Hyo ah, calm down,' Gary hugged her.

'No! Appa, please wake up! How could you have left me alone? You broke your promise! You said you wanted to witness my marriage! Now who will walk me down the red carpet when I get married?' Ji Hyo shook her father's body violently.

The others were appalled by Ji Hyo's actions. To them, Ji Hyo was usually the bravest among the running man members although she was the sole female member. This was one of the few times that she had cried so hard.

'It must be hard on her,' Joong Ki shook his head.

'You! It must be you! You are the one who assassinated my father, isn't it?' Ji Hyo pointed her finger at Joong Ki while accusing him.

'What? I...' Joong Ki was completedly taken aback.

'You were the one who purposely brought us to the amusement park so you could successfully kill my dad! You also confiscated our phones so I couldn't see my dad.. You murderer! Since you came back, everything has been going badly!' Ji Hyo mustered all her strength and pushed the defenceless Joong Ki on the ground.

Joong Ki was surprised by Ji Hyo's tremendous strength and did not know what to do.

The others immediately stopped Ji Hyo, while Haha helped Joong Ki up.

'You might want to go out now, she's kind of unstable now,' Haha whispered.

'I understand,' Joong Ki exited the room quietly.

'Ji Hyo ah, you have to relax,' Gary wrapped his arms tightly around Ji Hyo as he stroked her hair gently.

Ji Hyo began to struggle and continued to tear up.

'Ji Hyo ah, you must have misunderstood Joong Ki. You can't just jump to a conclusion like that,' Joong Kook said.

'You should apologise to him,' Haha told Ji Hyo.

'You're right. Sorry for making a scene,' she apologized to everyone first.

'It's alright,' everyone chorused.

'Your father's death must been a big blow for you,' Kwang Soo bowed.

'Yeah. Can you guys give me some time alone with my dad?' Ji Hyo's eyes were swollen.

'Absolutely,' the members left the room in hurry.

Ji Hyo spent some time thinking about the happy times she had with her father. After that, she reluctantly left.

After a brief apology to Joong Ki, Ji Hyo and the rest left the hospital with heavy hearts. But little did they know that this was not the end of the tiring day.

Before they could leave the hospital, a wave of reporters started to flood into the hospital, snapping countless of photos of them. Everyone was stunned by the glaring light of the cameras. There was no way out due to the huge crowd surrounding them.

'How did you feel about the passing of your father?' A reporter was right in front of Ji Hyo.

'How did he pass away?' Another one shouted.

'How did you feel about Yoon Eun Hye and Nick's recent takeover of your father's company, when you realize you're not the heir of it?' A lot of reporters had asked this question relentlessly many times.

'What?' Ji Hyo was enraged by the last question which she had heard, thinking that this rumour was false.
