Chapter 51-Drunk

Ji Hyo was taken aback by her own action (slapping Gary), but still, she thought that what she did was still right.

(Flashback..)

As Ji Hyo walked into the room, the scene before her angered her. Eun Hye was actually kissing Gary on his lips, and Ji Hyo was infuriated.

When Ji Hyo slapped Gary, his eyes still remained closed and he was still, which made Ji Hyo even more furious.

Before she left, she took a glance at Gary's phone which was next to his bed on a table, and she saw sweet messages exchanged between Eun Hye and Gary. And currently, she was boiling with rage.

(End of flashback...)

Eun Hye smirked proudly to herself and her plan succeeded. It was a piece of cake to her.

(Start of another flashback...)

Eun Hye had thought of a plan to further damage the strong relationship between the Monday Couple. She had requested Nick to distract Ji Hyo by asking her to visit Nick's friend, after knowing that Ji Hyo was in the hospital.

After that, Eun Hye pretended to be a nurse by quickly doing a slight makeover and gave a cup of water to Gary. The cup of water had been spiked by Eun Hye, of course, without Gary knowing.

RIght after he passed out, Eun Hye waited for Nick's cue to kiss Gary. When Ji Hyo was walking towards Gary's ward, she knew the exact timing as Nick informed Eun Hye and he was hiding carefully behind a wall such that Ji Hyo couldn't see him.

She also had sent sweet messages to Gary using her phone and used Gary's phone to send caring and mushy messages back to her phone. Eun Hye knew that Ji Hyo will see the text messages as the phone will be placed near the door, with increased brightness to capture her attention.

When Ji Hyo had left, Eun Hye just had to delete the messages on Gary's phone, and he wouldn't have known what happened. It was a flawless plan which Eun Hye could deliberately let Ji Hyo give up on Gary. Ji Hyo will then also treat Gary coldly in the future.

(End of second flashback...)

After what had taken place before Ji Hyo, she just couldn't manage to calm herself down and decided to call Nick.

"Hi Nick," Ji Hyo said in a shaky voice.

"What's wrong?" Nick pretended as if he cared.

"I'm busy and I'll not be able to meet you," Ji Hyo's tears poured out.

"Why-" Ji Hyo hung up hastily.

She also texted Joong Ki that she couldn't make it to their meeting and apologized to him. Wanting to forget about all these and to release her emotions, she decided to go to a pub and drink to her heart's content.

(In the pub...)

Ji Hyo was drinking her third bottle of soju, and was already drunk. Her cheeks were flushed red and she was tired. Still, despite her fatigue, she continued to drink out of frustration.

Not long later, she succumbed to fatigue and passed out. One of the bartenders who passed by saw the drunk Ji Hyo and her phone on the table. Out of kindness, he took her phone and called the person who Ji Hyo had last texted, which was Joong Ki.

Once Joong Ki had received the news, he immediately rushed over to the pub for his noona. After thanking the bartender, Joong Ki sighed and shook his head in disappointment after seeing Ji Hyo in such a state.

He mustered up all his strength and successfully carried Ji Hyo to his car. Joong Ki then realized that he didn't know Ji Hyo's home address as he  had just returned to Korea not too long ago and soon was in a dilemma. 

After thinking, he decided to bring Ji Hyo to his place for her to rest. Upon reaching his place, he placed Ji Hyo down on the sofa and sat down on the other end of the sofa in exhaustion. He was tired after carrying Ji Hyo around.

His eyes then drifted over to Ji Hyo and his heart started to beat rapidly. 

"She looks so beautiful when she's sleeping," Joong Ki went over to Ji Hyo and caressed her hair.
