Chapter 68-The Death Game

'Final mission?' Kwang Soo repeated.

'Yes, so today we will have our special running man filming, with special guests Yoon Eun Hye and Nick!' the Boss cheered on her own.

'I need some response,' the Boss was angry.

'Yay,' everyone clapped half-heartedly.

'So, we also have the PD here, please read out the instructions,' the Boss announced.

Almost immediately, another wall turned and a table was there, with a piece of paper on it.

The PD hesitated a little before picking up the paper.

'So... Everyone will have a nametag ripping battle with one another, and the one who wins will get.. a special prize,' the PD was glad that he wasn't part of this.

'Every 30 seconds, a nametag must be ripped or else...' the PD added.

'Or else what?' said Ji Hyo.

'Or else someone will get injured,' the PD coughed.

Everyone knew that if they didn't obey the boss, the consequences would be dire as someone will be hurt.

'The mission will only begin if you say 'start',"the Boss rolled his/her eyes.

'S.. Start!' the PD had followed the Boss' instructions.

At first, nobody moved an inch and everyone was completely still.

'Song Ji Hyo, feeling nervous?' the Boss had a wide grin on her face.

Without warning, Nick stretched out his arm and ripped off Eun Hye's nametag.

'Good job, Nick! Eun Hye is officially out!' the Boss shot them a cold smile.

To everyone's surprise, Nick was grinning from ear to ear as he was pleased by the compliment.

'What's wrong with him? He's not his usual self...' Ji Hyo was worried sick.

Without a word, Eun Hye rolled her eyes and remained unsurprised.

As expected, after a few minutes, only two men remaining standing: Mr Capable and Nick.

'Nick, why do you want to win so badly?' Jong Kook sighed.

'That's none of your business,' Nick grabbed onto Jong Kook's shirt and pulled Jong Kook towards himself while reaching for the nametag.

Simultaneously, Jong Kook held onto Nick's nametag.

However, Nick was not going to give up and managed to dodge Jong Kook's attack swiftly while ripping his nametag using another hand.

Jong Kook was taken aback and everyone was shocked that Nick had just defeated Jong Kook in the game which Sparta Kook had always won in.

'So.. we have the winner.. Nick!' The Boss again, clapped by herself.

'Anyway, we have time, so let's have a second mission, roll the dice!' The Boss announced.

'Ugh,' Kwang Soo complained.

'It's easy, you guys just have to roll the dice!' The Boss was in high spirits.

The time passed by very quickly and the total count of the dice was 30.

'Well, the special prize will be that Nick gets to choose a person is this room to be killed... Sad, isn't it? If you don't choose, you'll be killed instead!' The Boss pouted.

'What?' Ji Hyo yelled.

'Yep, Nick. Tell me which person in the room you dislike, someone who you would like to be discarded...' The Boss said.

'I hope Nick doesn't choose me.. But that would be selfish... because then the others will get chosen... Aish!' Ji Hyo thought, knowing that Nick must have felt like he was caught between a rock in a hard place.

But Ji Hyo was wrong, because soon enough Nick had an answer.

'Song Ji Hyo,' Nick had a calm expression on his face.

'What?' Ji Hyo felt betrayed and felt like she was stabbed right in her chest by Nick. She just couldn't believe her ears.

'I said you, Song Ji Hyo!' Nick shouted.

'What's wrong with you?' Jong Kook retaliated.

'Or do you want me to choose you?' Nick frightened them.

'Pick me then, leave Ji Hyo alone,' Gary stepped up.

'Oppa..' Tears flooded Ji Hyo's eyes.

'Ji Hyo ah, oppa doesn't want you to get hurt,' Gary cupped Ji Hyo's cheeks.

'I'll be it then,' Jae Suk volunteered.

One by one, everyone started to volunteer, even Eun Hye.

'Bravo!' The Boss clapped loudly. 'Everyone wants to play hero, eh? But I'm sorry, Song Ji Hyo will play the death game with me!' The Boss laughed menacingly.
