Chapter 63-Looking for you

"What.. secret?" Gary mumbled incoherently.

"Ji Hyo's giant secret, don't you want to know?" Eun Hye smirked with glee.

"Whatever, just stop bothering the other running man members," Gary frowned.

"Well, let me tell you, Mr Song isn't Ji Hyo's real father," Eun Hye said.

"Wha.. what are you talking about?" Gary's eyes widened.

"When Ji Hyo was an infant, her real parents put her outside Mr Song's house because they were just too poor and they knew that Mr Song was wealthy,' Eun Hye explained.

"Stop lying," Gary replied.

"Why do I need to lie? Besides, do you think Ji Hyo's mom really just simply died in a car accident?" Eun Hye argued.

"Oh my, what have you done again?" Gary gasped.

"It wasn't me. Last time, Suk Jin did it before he was jailed," Eun Hye pouted.

"So... can you let me go now?" Gary said.

"How innocent, you were the one who brought yourself into this. You're my trump card," Eun Hye beamed.

'Well, there's still secret number 3, shall we continue?' Eun Hye cackled.

(In the hospital...)

Ji Hyo woke up all of a sudden as she broke out in a cold sweat, calling for Gary. Realizing that Gary is not by her side, she was scared being alone. Soon enough, the note that Gary had written caught Ji Hyo's attention.

As she read the note, her hands were trembling vigorously, sensing the danger Gary was in.

'Gary ah,' Ji Hyo's tears started to stream down her face.

Calming herself down, Ji Hyo took out her phone to inform the running man members about what had happened.

To: The running man members

Guys! Gary's in danger, please rush to the hospital now!!

From: Ji Hyo

After a few minutes, Ji Hyo just couldn't wait anymore and got out of bed. Although she was still sick, Ji Hyo mustered all her strength to sneak out of the hospital to find Gary.

When the running man members reached the hospital, they were surprised to see the room empty, without Ji Hyo.

'Noona?' Kwang Soo lifted up the blanket.

'She's gone,' Jong Kook said, with his arms akimbo.

'Maybe she just went to buy some food, like the previous time?' Haha suggested.

'Can't be. Did she leave a note or something?' Jae Suk replied, which made everyone start to search the room for clues.

After some searching, Joong Ki yelled,' I found it!'

'Where?' Everyone stared at him with a blank look on their faces.

'Here, under the bed,' Joong Ki held the note up to show everyone, feeling proud in his mind as he was the one who managed to find it.

Without hesitation, Jong Kook snatched it away and read the contents of the note out aloud.

'So, Ji Hyo must have been very worried about Gary and couldn't wait. Then, she went out to find Gary!' Haha stated.

By the time he had finished talking, everyone started leaving the room to find Ji Hyo, ignoring Haha's remarks.

(Outside of the hospital...)

Ji Hyo has been wandering outside, aimlessly trying to find Gary. Everyone around her has been mumuring:

'Isn't that Song Ji Hyo?'

'What is Song Ji Hyo doing?'

'Oh my god, she looks so weird!'

'Look at her clothes, eww!'

Ji Hyo could not stand the comments and suddenly shouted,' So what? I don't need all you guys judging me!'

Right after that, she was sobbing while sitting beside a lampost, while mumbling Gary's name.

Not long later, a crowd had gathered around her and people started taking pictures of her, but Ji Hyo couldn't care less.

Among all this, someone squeezed through the crowd and was now at the front.

'Tissue?' Someone held a piece of tissue right in front of Ji Hyo.

'Gary?' Ji Hyo looked up with a slight smile.

As Ji Hyo lifted her head, she realized it was not Gary. But it was someone beyond her wildest dreams.

It was Nick.
