Ji Hyo was extremely shocked when Gary left, and wanted to run after him.

But Ji Hyo didn't want to lose this opportunity, so she decided to stay and hope to get some information out of Nick.

'Ignore him, I only love you,' Ji Hyo gulped as she realized what she had just told Nick.

'I love you too,' said Nick as he gently caressed Ji Hyo's hair.

Ji Hyo leaned away and began her interrogation, 'So, is there a mastermind behind all these?'

'Yes,' Nick had now confirmed Ji Hyo's suspicions. He held Ji Hyo's hand in a tight grip, not wanting to let her go.

'Who is it?' Ji Hyo demanded as her expression changed.

'Why do you want to know?' Nick was suspicious.

'Well, if.. you... tell me, I might get you out of jail,' Ji Hyo lied.

'Really?' Nick was tempted by Ji Hyo's offer.

'Yes,' Ji Hyo nodded hesitantly.

'Well, she's...' Nick was about to reveal the mastermind when suddenly, Haha walked in.

'Are you guys done flirting? Gary left!' Haha glared at the both of them.

Ji Hyo was flustered as Nick now adamantly refused to confess who the mastermind was, after coming back to his senses.

At the same time, another police officer entered the room and told Ji Hyo that Nick had to return to his cell as the time for them to talk was up.

Ji Hyo banged the table in frustration as she nodded at the officer.

Reluctantly, Nick was led to his jail cell by the officer.

Following which, Ji Hyo and Jong Kook left the room and went to meet the others who were waiting outside impatiently.

'I'm certain that the culprit is a girl, but other than that, I got nothing,' Ji Hyo said.

'Well, I bet you were having fun flirting with Nick, because Gary hyung left!' Haha folded his arms across his chest.

Ji Hyo shook her head in exasperation as she told the others that she was persuading Nick to tell her who the culprit was, and pretended that she still loved him.

'Pabo! You ruined her plan!' Jong Kook reprimanded Haha.

'Oops, sorry,' Haha hung his head low in embarrassment.

'It's okay,' Ji Hyo replied.

After that, the members and Joong Ki were also asked to have a chat with Eun Hye and Nick, but failed to get any information.

The police officers had only one vital lead, which was the gender of the criminal.

Everyone was exhausted and decided to return to their homes to rest.

The next day, everyone had received a text message from Joong Ki.

From: Joong Ki

Let's go for an outing, shall we? The location is xxx amusement park at 1pm. See you soon!

Initially, everyone declined Joong Ki's invitation. But after much persuasion from Joong Ki, they had agreed to meet up.

Although the trip to the amusement park took 4 hours, the day was packed with fun-filled activities for the members. They went onto many rides, had a lot of delicious food, took many pictures, and their moods were definitely lifted up.

Nevertheless, Ji Hyo apologised to Gary and after some convincing, Gary forgived Ji Hyo and they made up. They also took many romantic photos and had put it as their wallpapers.

(Somewhere in Seoul, in a jail cell...)

On the other hand, Eun Hye had been laughing in a cell for the past hour. The officers that walked past her cell thought that she was a maniac.

Police officer 1: She has been laughing continuously for the past hour and it's getting on my nerves. What do you think should we do?

Police officer 2: She must be crazy, I'll inform boss about it. She's so annoying, I hope she'll be sent to a mental hospital! *laughs*

Upon hearing their comments, Eun Hye screamed at them with all her might, and successfully chased them away.

(Flashback...)

Nick, Eun Hye and Mr Song had a contract stating that if Ji Hyo and Gary didn't get married by the time Mr Song passes away, they will then receive the money which Mr Song had agreed to give them, as this will mean that the duo had successfully broken them up.

Nick and Eun Hye had volunteered to make the contract, and being their cunning selves, little did Mr Song know that there were words written on the back page of the contract. Without noticing this, he signed the contract without giving much thought to it.

And this was what was written at the back of the contract:

If Mr Song passes away, Eun Hye and Nick will then also take over the company and would have total control over it.

(End of flashback...)

'Now, there's only one step left, get rid of Mr Song,' Eun Hye started to laugh uncontrollably again.

(At Incheon Amusement Park...)

To allow the members to have a better time in the amusement park and for them not to be distracted, Joong Ki suggested the idea of confiscating everyone's phones, including his. Everyone agreed with much reluctance, and indeed, had a lot of fun together.

After a few hours, the running man members were drained of their energy and decided to return to Seoul. Similarly, their phones were also returned back to them.

As Ji Hyo switched on her phone, she realized that she had 22 missed calls and 5 texts, which showed how the caller was.

Ji Hyo saw that the most recent text was sent to her half an hour before she had switched on her handphone and all the messages and calls were from the hospital.

From: The hospital
To: Song Ji Hyo

'Your father has been assassinated by someone and is currently hospitalized and in danger now. Please come now to Seoul hospital and be mentally prepared.'

After reading the horrible messages, Ji Hyo broke down and cried.

'Seoul hospital, now!' she told Jong Kook who was driving, and told the rest what had happened.

'Someone out there must be still cooperating with Eun Hye and Nick,' Ji Hyo mumbled as she clenched her fists tightly.
