Chapter 43-The Smart Betrayal

'Yah… Jong Kook ah, stop blushing already!' Jae Suk teased.

Upon hearing this, Eun Hye was glad that Jong Kook was blushing because of her.

'He might have a crush on me, score one for me!' Eun Hye thought silently in happiness.

'I'm not blushing!' Jong Kook denied.

Eun Hye stood in the middle, between Jong Kook and Jae Suk.

The PD explained that it was going to be an individual race throughout, but they were going to be paired up in pairs to go to the different locations together.

Jong Kook was going to be in the same car as Eun Hye, Gary and Ji Hyo and lastly, Jae Suk and Haha.

In each car, the members and Eun Hye were chatting happily. Yet, in the spies' minds, they were worried for the subsequent missions.

At the first mission, Ace Ji Hyo managed to finish the mission in first place, earning the spies an order of the elimination. The first person they were supposed to eliminate was Haha. Eun Hye also succeeded to be in the second place for the second mission, gaining them another clue. After Haha, Gary was supposed to be eliminated. Unfortunately, they didn't get into the top two for the third mission, which was to their disadvantage as Jong Kook and Jae Suk earned clues about the final mission.

Soon, it was time for the final mission. Immediately, behind the door, Ji Hyo found a clue about the order of elimination. The word 'Age' was written on the slip of paper she found.

The spies had to guess the last two people who were going to be eliminated, and they had decided to target Mr Capable as their third prey and then lastly, Jae Suk, according to their age.

Everything went smoothly for the two of them and they possessed great teamwork. They were so quick to eliminate the members that the members haven't even solved the clues yet.  The two girls used their waterguns and shot all the other members' nametags in order, without them even realizing, leaving everyone in bewilderment.

After Jae Suk's elimination, they were over the moon, as they didn't hear their own names announced, which meant they managed to oust the other members in the correct order, and didn't get themselves eliminated.

But their happiness was short-lived. Strangely enough, there wasn't any announcement of their win.

Just then, something struck upon our Ace.

'All the loopholes in the details of the mission, and the PD refused to answer questions I asked him,' Ji Hyo sensed that something was amiss. But what was it? 

'Could it be?' Ji Hyo thought.

Currently, she was next to Eun Hye and Eun Hye was clearly clueless about what was going on.

Eun Hye kept on babbling to Ji Hyo, which indeed, annoyed Ji Hyo greatly.

Then, Eun Hye suddenly turned her back and now, her back was facing Ji Hyo.

"This is my chance. It's either now or never!" Ji Hyo thought to herself.

She stretched her hand out, and with the watergun in her hand, she was ready to aim. 

Without wasting anymore time, Ji Hyo used the watergun and shot at Eun Hye's nametag, which was now stained in blue. 

'Mian-hae, Eun Hye,' Ji Hyo apologised.

Before Eun Hye could say anything, an announcement was made.

'Yoon Eun Hye out, Yoon Eun Hye out. Song Ji Hyo is the first victor of 2015!' a voice blared through the speakers.

As the two of them proceeded to jail to meet the others, Eun Hye then realised what was going on and blamed herself for not being attentive while listening to the rules of the final mission.

'What's going on? I thought the two of you were spies?' Jae Suk asked.

Then, Ji Hyo began to explain. She also listed out an example of the name of the race, which was 'The Return of The Bond sister', without an 's'.

Everyone was shocked at Ji Hyo's great performance and smart thinking, and began to congratulate her for winning the race. Everyone also thanked Eun Hye for being the guest and comforted her as she didn't win. Eun Hye acted as if she was extremely happy that Ji Hyo had won.

Yet, in Eun Hye's mind, she was infuriated. She really wanted to win, but was betrayed by Ji Hyo, making her hatred for Ji Hyo grow deeper. 'At least phase two is taking place,' she smirked to herself.
