Chapter 33 - Overheard

"Hyung, hyung" Jungkook called out as he shook Taehyung's body, he huffed when the older just grumbled and dug his face deeper into the duvets.

"Hyung please wake up, it's almost dinner time and you need to have a shower!" Jungkook slightly raised his voice as he sighed seeing Taehyung finally raise his head his eyes still closed just moving around his head, his raven hair was all over stretching out in every direction.

"I'm up" Taehyung let out his voice low toned finally sitting up, he shifted towards the edge of the bed and pressed his face in Jungkook's abdomen arms wrapping around the younger's waist.

Jungkook let out a breath his fingers tangling with the older's messed hair as he smoothened the the hair strands relishing the softness of it between his fingers before digging his fingers deeper into the tousled hair his fingers pressing against the scalp making Taehyung let out a contented hum which vibrated along Jungkook's body warming him in and out.

"Wake up, will you?" Jungkook again questioned he trailed his palms flattening over the older's nape before he held his jaw and made Taehyung look up pressing Taehyung's cheeks making the older pout.

"I'm awake bun" Taehyung grumbled out, his voice was unclear with his cheeks being squished together.

"You are adorable" Jungkook giggled out as he kept squishing the older's cheeks, coo-ing over the sleepy elder and showering him with endless praises saying how perfect man Taehyung was and he was also extremely cute little fluffball.

It was all new for Taehyung to get appreciated and to be praised like this, the way Jungkook was going off about how all his features are admirable to the younger and how glad Jungkook was to have him in his life.

"Bun, that's enough" Taehyung almost whined stuffing his bright red face in Jungkook's stomach again, his face along with his whole body felt warm and his heart seemed to swell in his chest hearing the younger giggle.

"I just want you to know how special you are to me, you never fail to make me realise my worth and things should go both ways, you should know that you are perfect my eyes" Jungkook let out his fingers fondly caressing Taehyung's nape massaging over there, he just wanted the older to know that Taehyung really matters a lot to him and he does appreciate Taehyung's whole existence.

"Thank you so much sweetheart" Taehyung looked up with his chin resting on Jungkook's abdomen as he smiled at the younger, he actually felt better about himself.

He always wanted to be a better man, a better human and hearing that he was perfect for Jungkook, did make his heart twist in the most pleasant way.

"Your welcome, now go and take a shower I'll change the sheets and get the dinner ready" Jungkook chuckled and backed away seeing Taehyung stand and now the older was literally towering over him.

"Yeah I actually feel a bit icky down there, bun we could have saved water if we showered together" Taehyung said and licked over his lips leaning down to look at Jungkook with a smirk stretched up on his lips.

"Maybe next time?" Jungkook teased a giggle slipping out of his lips seeing Taehyung's smirk fall a bit, the older definitely wasn't expecting his answer.

"Bun..." Taehyung whispered, he strode towards Jungkook with their bodies almost touching but Jungkook kept a hand over Taehyung's chest and laughed as he pushed Taehyung towards the bathroom later hearing the raven head grumble.

"We'll save water some other day, right?"

"Jeon Jungkook you better stop teasing me!"

Jungkook let out a loud laugh clutching on his stomach which had started to hurt hearing Taehyung still grumble from the bathroom, his giggles weren't ceasing as he pulled out the duvet cover from the bed bundling it up in his hold hearing the pitter patter of shower from the bathroom reverberating around before he walked out of the room towards the laundry room to put the duvets into wash.
