Ian's house amazed me. It was beautiful from inside.
"Is this your first time being here?" Dimitri asked me.
"Yes…" I replied.
"May I ask what kind of relationship you and Ian have?
You already told me that you're not his girlfriend. Are you guys friends?" Dimitri asked. Now that's the real question which I had been asking myself.
"OMG no… Ian and I are just classmates." I replied.
"And why are you coming over at this hour?" Dimitri asked.
"Because we were supposed to hangout, but he didn't show up." I replied.
"So you're not just classmates." Dimitri underlined.
"We are!" I said.
"Have we met before?" Dimitri asked me.
"Not that I know of." I replied.
"I feel like I've smelt you before… Weird..." Dimitri said. This was weird.
"Do you live here?" I asked Dimitri.
"Kinda. I just recently came to this town. Ian was alone for too long." Dimitri answered.
"He mentioned to me he didn't live with his parents…" I said.
"Oh, don't you know about his parents?" Dimitri said.
"No." I replied.
"Do you want me to tell you?" Dimitri said.
Ian told me he didn't wanna talk about it but wanted to know.
"I do…" I replied.
"I hope you are not too faint hearted. It's a rather dark and brutal story. Ian was very close to his parents. He was still pretty young when it happened." Dimitri said with a sad expression.
"What happened?" I asked.
"His parents… they got…" Before Dimitri completed his sentence Ian came and stopped him.
"What are you talking about?" Ian asked.
"I was telling her about your parents." Dimitri replied.
"Didn't I tell you that I don't wanna talk about this?" Ian asked angrily.
"I'm sorry… I didn't think it was this serious…" I replied.
"It is." Ian said.
"I'm sorry." I replied.
"What are you doing here?" Ian asked angrily to me.
"Excuse me?
Did you already forget that you were supposed to get me? You invited me." I replied angrily.
"Oh.
I'm sorry, Liz. Something came in between. I totally forgot." Ian apologized.
"Too bad. But you know what?
I don't give a shit any longer. Don't think you can do this to me just because every girl is kissing your ass. I'm not like that." I said angrily and went to my house.

I was frustrated and disappointed and mad at myself. How could I have seriously thought he had  changed. Or at least wouldn't treat me like shit any longer. How could I've been so naive!?
It's already the next day. We're practicing football at the ground. Samantha hitted me knowingly because she saw me talking with Ian that day. But Maeve took my revenge and hitted Samantha back. And Samantha knocked off on the ground. That's why the principal called us and warned us. They couldn't find Samantha's fault.
At lunch time me, Maeve, Jack, Finn, Cole and Billy were having lunch together and talking. It was fun with them.
But I saw Ian was sitting alone. I was still angry at him for ditching me the other night. But when Ian was all alone, I couldn't help but feel bad. He could have as many friends as he wants… Why didn't he? It was like he shut himself off from everybody on purpose.
After lunch, I was looking for my biology class. But I just couldn't find it… I entered a room where I saw Ian and Daniel were talking. They seemed close, Ian was comfortable with her. Before I could hear something they noticed me.
"Liz?" Ian said.
"Yes!?" I replied.
"What are you doing here?" Ian asked me.
"I was looking for my biology class…" I answered.
"This is a chemistry lab." Ian said.
"I see that now..." I said.
Then Daniel went out of the room.
"Did you hear what we were talking about?" Ian asked me.
"No… What were you talking about?" I replied.
"Nothing.
Do you want me to show you the biology class?" Ian said.
"No thanks." I said and about to leave the room but Ian stopped me.
"Liz, wait.
I'm sorry I ditched you last night." Ian said.
"You already apologized." I said.
"But I didn't explain.
A friend of mine was in trouble. I can't tell you more, Because I have difficulties being open." Ian said.
"That's not healthy." I said.
"But that's who I'm. I really didn't mean to hurt you." Ian said.
"It's okay.
I understand. It's just… I feel like I don't know anything about you. And this makes me nervous." I replied.
"If you want, we could hang out after school and I will answer your questions." Ian insisted.
"You do?" I asked.
"Sure." Ian replied.
"That's unexpected." I said.
"Let's meet outside the building." Ian said.

After class ended, I headed outside to meet with Ian. I was nervous. If he was telling the truth then I would definitely get some answers. But I wasn't sure if he was even ready for them…
I met him and we sat together.
"Wow it's beautiful here…" I said.
"Ask me." Ian said.
"How long have you been here?" I asked.
"I moved here a few years ago." Ian answered.
"Where have you been?" I said.
"Many places." Ian replied.
"What happened with your family?" I asked.
"Okay that's one thing I can't give you answer to." Ian answered.
"What's your relationship with Kate?" I asked him.
"Why do you wanna know?" Ian said.
"I'm the one asking not you!" I replied.
"She's an old friend of mine." Ian answered.
"So… nothing more?" I said.
"Define 'more'!
We're close but nothing romantic." Ian replied.
"Anyway, how are you so strong?" I asked.
"I was trained since I was a little kid. And I guess my genes were a huge help too.
What? That's truth." Ian answered.
"Okay we're done?" Ian said.
"For now." I replied.
"C'mon I'll take you home." Ian said.
Then Ian drove me home. I saw Victor was standing outside of my house and waved at me. I went to Victor and hugged him. Ian saw this and got jealous.
"What are you doing here?" I asked Victor.
"My school let us have one week off for whatever reason. So, I decided to come visit you." Victor replied.
"Wow…" I said surprisingly.
"What's wrong?
You don't look that excited." Victor asked me.
"No… I'm!
It's just really unexpected." I replied.
"Don't you wanna introduce us?" Victor asked me.
"Hm!?" I said.
"To your friend over there." Victor said pointing towards Ian.
"OH…
Sure… Victor, this is Ian. My… classmate. Ian, this is Victor, my childhood friend." I introduced them.
"Nice to meet you." Victor said to Ian.
"Yeah.
Liz, I'm heading home." Ian replied.
"Thank You for driving me…" I said to Ian.
"Of course." Ian said and left.
