"Ok, calm down, Liz...
But why the FREAKING HELL did he have to be here??!
It's like he doesn't want me to forget him!!!
Okay, what do I do now!? I can't let him see me." I was thinking.
I was totally freaking out. I saw Ian on another table with two people, a guy and a girl. I started to walk like a cat so he couldn't notice me or see me.
"You are very smart, Liz.
Where is he." I was thinking.
That's when I bumped into something "Ouch.".
I saw it was Ian, who bumped into me.
I stood up. I didn't know how he noticed me and came to me.
"Well this is going fast.
If you intended on stalking me, you should be a little more subtle." Ian said with a teasy smile.
"I'M NOT." I replied.
"Are you sure? Doesn't sound that convincing to me..." Ian said.
"Trust me I could find someone way more interesting to talk to." Did I seriously just say that!! I said it anyway.
"Good to know." Ian said.
"So, you're skipping school?" I asked him.
"Huh?
Yeah, I guess so. Did you miss me already?" Ian said.
"You wish." I replied.
"Are you eating here by yourself? Kinda sad." Ian teased me.
"Not that it's your business but no. I'm not by myself." I replied.
"Who's that bored to go out with you?" Ian said.
I was like "Ouch".
"I'm with Jack." I replied.
After hearing Jack's name, Ian laughed.
"Oh, that makes sense." Ian said in his teasy way.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked.
"Because I should've known.
Of course, it's a loverboy." Ian said and laughed again.
"His name is Jack." I said.
"Do you think I care?" Ian said.
I just ignored him and went back to my table, to Jack.
"Hey, you wanna order?
I'm so hungry!" I said to Jack.
"Of course..." Jack said.
"Oh wow! That looks amazing! And expensive..." I said after seeing the manu.
"Don't worry about it. It's my treat." Jack said.
"Are you sure...?" I asked.
"Seriously, eat whatever you want!" Jack said.
"Alright... " I said.

That's when I was looking at Ian's but Shit, he saw me watching.
"Number 37 sounds amazing right?" Jack asked.
But I wasn't focused on Jack... my all attention was at Ian's. I kept looking at him.
"Don't look, Liz." I was thinking.
"Liz?" Jack said.
"Ehm... what?" I asked.
"I said number 37 looks amazing right?" Jack asked.
"Oh yes!" I said.
I really tried not to look at him, but I could feel that bastard staring right at me.
"I knew." I was thinking.
When I looked at Ian, he winked at me. And I blushed and my cheeks got red.
"Are you okay? Liz?
Liz!?" Jack said.
"Uhh yes!" I said.
"Your face is red." Jack said.
"Ehm... I'm just a little hot." I replied.
"Okay." Jack said.
My all attention was at Ian's. I had to get hold of myself.
"Did you decide?
I think I want number 12." I asked Jack.
"That sounds great. I'll take the same.
You look beautiful by the way." Jack said.
"Oh thank you.
You don't look too bad yourself." I replied.
"Thanks." Jack thanked me.
That's when I saw Ian was coming towards our table. I got nervous.
"Everything okay?" Jack asked.
My eyes never left Ian's and I could see a smirk forming on his lips while he continued to walk in our direction. But he passed our table. He did that all just to make me nervous.
"Looks like Ian is here." Jack said.
"Oh really?" I said.
I pretended like I didn't know.
"Yeah, I just saw him walk by.
I always wondered what kind of relationship you two are ..." Jack said.
"What?" I said.
"I've never seen Ian talk to someone at our school. But it looks like he doesn't have a problem talking to you." Jack said.
Jack totally confused me, it was complicated. I didn't know what to say.
"Uhmm..." I said.
But that's when the waitress came and saved me, guess I'm lucky.
"Can I take your order?" Waitress asked us.
"YES!!" I replied.

After dinner.
"That was absolutely AMAZING." I said to Jack.
"Right?" Jack said.
"I've never eaten anything so good." I said.
"Should we go?
I'm gonna go pay, you can wait outside. I'll be right there." Jack said.
Jack went for payment and I was waiting for him outside. I saw Ian and his two other friends also standing outside there. I noticed the girl with Ian was very beautiful like a supermodel.
"Wow... she's beautiful.
Like really beautiful. Drop dead gorgeous beautiful.
Of course he's such an ass. When every single girl is kissing your ass, you probably feel pretty good about yourself." I was thinking.
After a few seconds Jack came.
"Are you ready to go?" Jack asked me.
"Yes!" I replied.
Jack drove me home, after we reached my house Jack was about to leave.
"So...
I had a lot of fun today... we should do this again." Jack said before he went.
I decided to tell Jack that I'm not interested in him. Not in the way he was interested in me. I should've done so in the beginning. To constantly think about another guy while you're on a date with some other guy probably isn't that... good. So here we go...
"Jack." I said.
"Yes?" Jack replied.
"You're amazing and I enjoy being with you... But not in that way..." I said.
"Oh... that's okay I guess..." Jack said with a sad face.
"I'm so sorry.
But I really wanna continue being friends with you." I said.
"I don't know. I need some time to think..." Jack replied in a low voice.
"Of course." I said.
"Bye Liz." Jack said.
"Bye Jack." I replied.
"I feel so bad...
Every other girl would've loved to be with him... why not me?" I was thinking after Jack left.

The next day. I went to school. I was sad about yesterday, that I had to say that to Jack. Ian was standing in the school hallways but I ignored him, because I was thinking about yesterday and Jack. I told myself to stay focused.
This constant thinking about Ian King made me confused and irritated. I wanted to take school seriously and actually make friends. I didn't want to be involved in any sort of drama. Till now this didn't work out the way I imagined it to be. I had to stay away from this boy. For my own good.
I was walking and thinking and accidentally bumped into Jack.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry.
Oh... hi." I said to Jack.
"Hi." Jack replied.
"Uhm... how are you doing?" I asked him.
"Fine I suppose." Jack answered.
"That's great!" I said.
This was so awkward.
"Look. Let's not be like that.
It's fun to hangout with you. I can't suppress my feelings right now but I wanna try being friends." Jack said.
"Seriously?" I double checked.
"Seriously." Jack confirmed.
"You don't even know how happy this makes me." I said.
"Let's meet at lunch break, okay?" Jack said.
"Sure!" I replied.
I was very happy that Jack understood and he was still my friend.
We went for the next lesson. I was sitting alone but after a few minutes Ian came and sat next to me. I totally ignored him, that's why I kept myself busy on the phone. I wasn't even looking at him. Ian stared at me for some time.
"Hey." Ian said to me.
"Hey." I replied.
"How was your date with your loverboy?" Ian asked me.
I heard from his voice that he was trying to provoke me. But not today.
"It was amazing.
I hope your dinner was pleasant as well." I tried my best to talk.
"I'm happy it went well." He said with his mean face. But trust me he wasn't the least bit happy.
Suddenly he leaned towards me.
"What're you doing?" I asked him.
"You got something in your hair." Ian said.
He was touching my hair. I was blushing.
"You know you look cuter with that blush on your face." Ian said.
"I don't care." I replied.
