Next day. When I came out of my house to go to school, Ian was waiting for me in his car.
"Get in." Ian said to me.
"What?" I asked.
"Get in the Car." Ian said like he's ordering.
"Excuse me?" I said.
"I'll take you to the school." Ian replied.
"Why…?" I asked.
"Who cares? Just get in." Ian replied.
But when I ignored him. He came and took me and put me in his car forcefully.
"LET GO OFF ME!" I screamed.
"Yeah, yeah." Ian said.
Ian was driving to school, I was in his next seat.
"You still mad?" Ian asked me.
"Oh, of course not!
It's not like you just completely ignored my will and forced me in your car like I'm some pet!" I said.
"I don't despise the idea of you being my pet." Ian said.
"I won't even acknowledge this with an answer." I replied.
"I would treat you real good, Liz. Care for you. Comfort you. Satisfy your needs. You wouldn't get enough of me. Changing your mind?" Ian said with his sexy voice. And I was blushing.
"Concentrate on driving!" I said.
"It's a Tesla. We're fine." Ian replied.
"Still…" I said.
"Am I making you nervous?" Ian asked me.
"Keep your distance!" I said.
"That again.
You're always saying these things, but your body doesn't seem to want distance though." Ian said.
"You don't know anything about my body!" I replied.
"I Don't?
You know one of the benifits about being a Vampire is that I remember every single thing, clearly. Every image. Every encounter." Ian said.
I knew exactly what encounter that bastard was talking about.
"I mean not like I would need my photographic mind to remember your body. Nobody would ever forget this image." Ian said with his super-sexy voice.
He said and just turned away from me. Leaving me all heated up and awkward the house. What has been his plan along.
After reaching school. I saw Maeve in hallways and went to her.
"Hey." I said to Maeve.
"Hi.
You look like you had one hell of a making out session." Maeve replied.
"I DIDN'T!" I said.
Only Ian was capable of doing this only with words.
"I hope you don't bring this Elijah guy with you along this time." Maeve said.
"It's not like I want this either. He's just... really hard to get rid of. Like gum under your shoes." I replied.
That's when Elijah came to us.
"Did you just compare me to gum under your shoe?" Elijah asked.
"Oh hey Elijah…" I said.
"You seem to be really into gum considering yesterday's event…" Elijah said.
"What he's talking about?" Maeve asked.
"NOTHING!" I replied. And stopped before Elijah say anything.
"Yeah, I don't get this. Bye." Maeve said and left.
"You hurt my feelings, Liz.
I enjoyed every single second we spend together. Especially the way you were dressed." Elijah said.
That's when Ian came and kicked Elijah. And Elijah fell on the floor.
"Ouch!
Why do you always hurt me!?!" Elijah asked Ian.
"I'm a sadist.
I can't help it." Ian answered Elijah.
"Come with me." Ian said to me.
"No.
And I swear of God if you gonna drag me I'll go insane." I replied to Ian.
"Fine." Ian said. And stared me for some seconds.
But like always Ian pulled me with him. He took me to an empty room.
"Ian King." I said
"Yes, Liz Varon." Ian said.
"You have a serious issue with accepting other people's opinions." I said angrily.
"Whatever.
You're gonna stay away from this guy. Okay?" Ian said.
"You mean Elijah?" I asked.
"I don't care for his name.
You won't continue to be near him." Ian said.
"Right.
Do you seriously think you could just tell me what to do and I oblige? Have you lost your mind?" I said angrily.
"From past experiences I know that this isn't the case. But I have hope in you, Liz. I believe that you're capable of change and growth." Ian said with his mean smile.
"You're a douchebag!" I said.
"Wow that's the tamest thing you've called me till now.
He's dangerous, Liz." Ian replied.
"Because he's a Vampire? Then what about you huh?" I asked him.
"I never said that I wasn't dangerous." Ian answered.
"So you want me to stay away from you too?" I asked.
"You already do that, don't you?" Ian said.
"We awfully spend much time together for that. I might have to explain to you what distance means." I replied.
"Maybe you have to.
Distance is not something I'm that familiar with. I prefer full on physical contact." Ian said. OMG… that was hot…
Then he came closer, held my hand, looked into my eyes.
"You don't need this guy.
He's just a nuisance. Okay?" Ian said.
"Okay." I replied.
"Good girl." Ian said.
Then he left… omg he was trying to manipulate me but it didn't work on me.
We were in class, this time I sat next to Maeve. Mr. Andrew were teaching. That's when I got text from Victor, so I texted back.
"Who's putting that stupid grin on your face?" Maeve asked me.
"Huh? Oh, Victor texted me." I replied.
"How are things between you two? Isn't it awkward?" Maeve asked.
"Because he confessed his feelings for me, and I rejected him?" I said.
"Yes." Maeve said.
"A little.
I don't know. It's true that things have changed. We haven't been talking that much like we used to." I replied.
"Are you sad about that?" Maeve asked me.
"I guess.
I just feel like too much is happening. And then there's this  slight awkwardness." I replied.
"Don't worry too much.
You've known each other your whole life. It won't stay awkward. Trust me." Maeve said.
"Let's hope." I replied.
After class we went outside near school's garden. We saw Ian and Kate also there.
"Who's that?" Maeve asked me.
"Kate." I answered.
"Kate?" Maeve said.
"A friend of Ian's" I replied.
"Friend?" Maeve said.
Maeve was right. They didn't look like just friends. She was standing so close to him. And why would he mind, she was drop dead gorgeous after all. That's when Elijah came and distracted me.
"How sweet of you to wait for me!" Elijah said.
"I didn't wait for you!" I said.
"Are we playing hard to get?
If yes I don't mind.
I like playing." Elijah said.
That's when he got silent for a few seconds.
"Wow. And I thought he was into you." Elijah said.
"Huh?" I said confusingly.
"Ian. Look he's kissing that chick." Elijah said.
When we looked at them, Ian and Kate were kissing.

In the evening, I was in my room. Sad and confused. Kept thinking about the kiss. I mean why did he kiss her!? And why did it upset me so much!? We weren't committed to each other. Ian wasn't mine and I wasn't his. But did he have to act that way then? Why did he had to come so close to me? Tease me all the time. Maybe he really just wanted to know me save. That didn't mean he was romantically interested in me. But again then… past experiences had shown that he indeed was or maybe it was him bored. And he found someone better. That's when Elijah came to my room or I say appeared in my room.
"Hey Liz!" Elijah said.
"Elijah!?" I said shockingly.
"I missed you." Elijah said.
"We saw each other all day in school." I replied.
"Still.
You okay?" Elijah asked me.
"Yeah, of course!" I answered.
Elijah didn't say anything back.
