Later that night. Everyone was sleeping in their respective tents with their paired partner. I was also in my tent with Daniel. She was deeply asleep but I couldn't sleep at all. This was really uncomfortable for me to sleep with her. Suddenly I noticed a shadow passed through our tent. I wanted to look out but then I thought I didn't wanna be the stereotypical girl who dies in every horror movie first. Then Ian would make fun of me after my death. So I tried to sleep. But I couldn't. So I went outside to see what that was. I saw some movements near the bushes. So I went to the bushes. But that's when I felt like someone was standing behind me. I got scared. When I turned around I screamed without seeing but it was IAN.
"AHHH!!!" I screamed.
"Shit!!" Ian said.
"Why do you always have to do that for god's sake!" I said to Ian.
"God has nothing to do with this. I'm just enjoying your fear." Ian replied.
"You're messed up." I said.
"That's a matter of opinion." Ian said.
"What do you want?" I asked him.
"I had a smoke and saw you creeping around like some frightened animal." Ian answered.
"I wasn't creeping around. I…
I wanted to get some fresh air." I said. I could not tell him that I heard something.
"In the middle of the night?" Ian said and stared at me.
"Yes.
Stop staring at me." I replied.
"Why?
Does it make you nervous?" Ian asked me in his teasy way.
"No!
I just think it's creepy. Okay." I answered.
"I think that's the least creepy thing about me, don't you think!?
Hey, you wanna go to the teachers tent?" Ian insisted.
"What?" I said confusingly.
"The teachers tent." Ian replied.
"Why would I go to the teacher's tent?" I asked.
"I saw both of them check into some hotel. Which means the tent is empty." Ian explained.
"So?" I said.
"Their tent is way more luxurious than ours. Don't you think it's more comfortable to sleep in there?" Ian replied.
"What are you implying?
That the two of us sleep in there together?" I asked.
"Yes. What do you say?
Could be fun right?" Ian said.
"No." I replied.
"Why not?" Ian asked.
"Because it's the freakin teacher's tent!" I replied.
"So?" Ian said.
"What are your motives anyway?" I asked.
"As I said. Why not use the more comfortable space." Ian replied.
"Then why don't you just sleep in there alone? Why do you ask me?" I asked.
"Because I'm obviously a very generous person." Ian answered.

That's when we heard some girls' voices. We saw some girls outside of Ian's tent. They were planning to check on Ian's ten. But Ian wasn't at his tent, he was with me outside. Before the girls saw us together, Ian dragged me inside the teacher's tent with him. Now we both were inside the teacher's tent and I was lying next to Ian. I could not understand why we always end up in this kind of situation.
"Can you please gimme some space?" I said to Ian.
"We are in a tent, Liz. There's no space." Ian said.
"Why did you even pull me here?" I asked Ian.
"Would you have rather liked for those girls to see us together?" Ian said.
"No." I replied.
"There's your answer." Ian said.
"What do you really want Ian?" I asked him.
"I told you.
Have some fun." Ian answered.
"We aren't on good terms." I said.
"Does it matter!?" Ian said.
"Yeah, to me it does." I replied.
"Then I'll make you change your mind." Ian said and came very close to me, at my top.
"Go off me. Now!" I said.
"But you feel so soft. I like being on top of you." Ian replied.
When Ian lowered his face to mine to kiss me… like he kissed someone else. That Kate kissing image was still on my mind.
"STOP!" I said strictly.
"What's the problem?" Ian asked.
"You are the problem." I replied.
"Liz you're confusing the fuck out of me." Ian said.
"I??? Me!???
You kissed her!" I said.
"Kate?
Are you being serious?
I told you I didn't kiss her back." Ian said.
"She still stuck her fucking tongue in your mouth! And you didn't exactly push her back." I said angrily.
"And what if I didn't huh?
We're not in a relationship, in case you forgot." Ian replied.
"Right. We're not. That's why we need to stop doing this." I said.
"You don't need to be in a relationship to mess around." Ian said.
"But I don't wanna just MESS AROUND. It hurts my feelings when you just let yourself be kissed by someone else after you pulled some numbers on me.
I… maybe I'm not the right person for this! I'm not like you Ian!" I said.
"I think you're dramatizing things." Ian said.
"I'm not.
I'm not the kind of girl to only mess around with someone. I'm sorry, okay. I can't do that." I replied.
"Yeah you can. You're just being a little sensitive right now." Ian said.
"Yes, maybe I'm sensitive. So what? Don't disrespect that?" I replied.
"I'm not." Ian said.
"Ian. Answer my question now.
And be honest with me.
Could you ever imagine being in a serious relationship with me?" I asked him.
That deadly silence that followed, was the answer I needed to hear. Or more like I feared to hear. He got completely silent.
"Thought so." I said.
"Liz." Ian said.
"What?" I said.
"It's not that easy for me. I need more time to…" Ian replied.
"When I asked you to keep your distance after you bit me… did you do that? No.
You never respected my wishes or opinions." I said.
"You wanted your distance because I'm a Vampire. And the second I'm away you hook up with some other Vampire." Ian said.
"I didn't hook up with anyone!" I replied.
"Then what's the relationship you have with the kid huh? You two are friends? Hang out and listen to music and play with dolls? Yeah I don't buy this bullshit, Liz!" Ian said.
"I never said we were friends for god's sake!" I replied.
"Then what are you?" Ian asked me. I got confused.
"We… are…" I couldn't think of what to say.
"Thought so." Ian said.
"NO! It's difficult to explain, okay! Elijah… he's complicated." I said.
"Complicated my ass. You accuse me of not being serious… when you yourself do the same thing." Ian said.
"I don't have anything with him!" I replied.
"So, he never tried to make a move on you? Never tried to kiss you? You're the same as me." Ian said.
"NO! The difference is I NEVER LET HIM." I replied.
"Yeah, because I interrupted your almost make out session." Ian said.
"There was no ALMOST MAKE OUT session." I replied.

We both went to our tent again without saying any words to each other. In the morning, Daniel woke up and went outside, didn't even look at me, creepy right. I felt like shit to be honest because of Ian. Yesterday's events still lingered in my head and I couldn't do anything about it. Ian's silence to my question had hurt. It wasn't like I was expecting much, but to get it thrown right into your face was… HURTFUL.
