My bag was pretty far away from the castle, not wanting it to be found by any guards.

The night wind stung at my face. Making my cheeks grow a rosy colour.

"Ma'am?" a voice said.

I whipped around and was met with a pair of guards, castle guards.

"You're Ms. Everett, right?" the same guard said.

I didn't say anything, not wanting them to know any more than they did.

"What are you doing so far away from the party?" the other one questioned.

"No reason boys, just wanted a walk," I plastered a fake smile on my face.

"You shouldn't be out here," the first one said.

"We have to escort you back to the castle."

"No I'm fine," I brushed them off and turned away from them.

I felt a hand on my arm and I whirled around. One of the men was gripping my arm.

"Miss we have to bring you back," he said.

I dropped the fake smile, and replaced it with a menacing grin.

"Silly little boy," I mused to him. My powers jumping to attack them.

His face blanched, the pure look of terror covering his face.

"Thought your mother would have taught you to not touch a lady without her consent," I chuckled.

"I-I'm so-sorry ma'am," he stuttered, letting go of my arm and backing away.

I stepped towards the two men.

I clucked my tongue at them, "Stupid boys, messing with someone who holds more power than both of you combined."

One of the guards tripped while backing up, scrambling to get away from me.

I willed power into my eyes, making them glow like a cat in the night.

The other one also fell down, now both guards were laying on the ground. Whimpering for forgiveness.

I crouched down, taking the knife from my thigh strap and running it along my fingers.

"How should I end you?" I questioned them.

"An easy slice? Carving out your tongue, making you choke on your own blood? I wonder."

"Please! I didn't mean to do anything!"

"Aw babe, Don't beg, you sound pathetic."

I stood back up, and walked towards the one who had grabbed me, I crouched down and ran my dagger down his forehead. Blood dripped down his skin. He screamed in pain.

"Shshsh."

I pulled open his mouth and gripped his tongue, I sawed my blade across it. Cutting his scream off. Instead replaced with the choking on blood.

"That's better," I tapped his cheek and plunged my knife into his throat. Blood splattering my face.

The other guard whimpered and tried to get up. I pulled his leg and he fell down hard on his face.

I got the bag of pills from my side and opened the tie. Capsules full of iron in the small bag. I flipped the guy over and forced his mouth open.

Cracking open the small pill, being careful not to touch any or the powder.

I sprinkled a small amount on his tongue and watched it dissolve before my eyes. The pink flesh curling and burning.
