The night John got to the island, he took me out to some party. Daddy didn't know about it, and I really didn't have to tell Mama anything that was going on in my life, seeing as though she was acting just as immature as someone my age would. She needs to grow up and act like a 43 year old woman should be acting, not like some 17 year old girl who doesn't know right from wrong.

She knows she's too old and too invested with my father to cheat on him, but what piece of shit could she been cheating with? I know Daddy's a lot of things but he's a good man and an amazing father. What boy amount to anything my father's worth? If I was Mama, and I had a loyal and fine man like her, I wouldn't think about another man; let alone have the audacity to cheat on a good man.

Sometimes I think Daddy's too good for her. She's so ungrateful of the luxuries she has it's disgusting. I don't kn ow what previously happened in their relationship before I was born, but Daddy treats her like a queen and she's constantly shitting on him. He loves her unconditionally and would probably even look past this cheating episode of hers just to keep his family together but she's just too mesmerized by whom ever beef cake she's sucking. She needs to wake up out of her what ever dream world she's in and come to her senses.

John pulled me through the large crowd of natives and some tourists who thronged the beach. The party being thrown tonight was on the beach that wasn't too far away from the beach house we were staying in, so it wasn't hard sneaking out but it'll be even easier getting back into the house tonight.

Ever since we got to the beach the D.J. had been playing Caribbean music, but now he was playing more music that I could relate to. The D.J. was playing Juicy J's Bands A Make Her Dance. The song was hella old and probably got no radio play at home anymore, but the party was still live and I could still get down to this old song.

"What'chu want from the bar?" John asked, taking the seat beside me at the bar.

"Whatever you're getting."

"Kool-Aid it is then," he chuckled as he ordered us something to drink, but it wasn't Kool-Aid. He scooted his stool closer to mine while the bartender fixed our drinks. "You enjoyin' yourself tonight girl?"

I grabbed my drink and nodded my head as I took a sip of the strong alcohol inside of my glass. "Yeah especially since I'm spending it with you," I smiled.

John's eyes drifted down to my chest before a smile crept up on his face. He quickly placed his eyes back on my before asking, "You cold baby?"

I looked down at my nipples that were poking through my thin t shirt and pushed him. "Stop it John! That's not funny," I laughed as I punched him in the arm. "Your eyes shoulda been up here on mine, not down on my chest."

He smiled. "I'm sorry Linds but I couldn't help myself. They were just right there when I looked down and I had to say something about them."

I smirked. "What? They got you hard or something?" I asked, looking down at his pants.

John pulled his shirt over his pants. "Nah, I ain't even hard."

I nodded my head. "Right," I sarcastically replied. "So, how are things back at home?"

"You know, the usual. It's hot as hell."

"Nah, I'm talking about relationship wise. I know what the weather's like, I wanna know what's going on with you and Johnna," I replied.

"Oh, like what's up with you and your man?" he asked.

Oh shit, I completely forgot about Jordan. We've been down here for four days and I haven't called him once. I don't even remember the last time I spoke to him prior to going on vacation. Damn. Jordan's going to be pissed when I try calling him but hopefully he'll understand that I've been busy down here and just haven't had a chance to call him. But it's not like he's called me though, so I'm not completely to blame. I wonder what he's been doing that's caused him not to call me this entire time.
