Asia and I walked down Greenview Boulevard early Monday evening. While my parents were out on a date, they shipped Theodore and I off to our grandparents house. We were supposed to stay there and do our homework, but since grandma wasn't there, grandpa let me out of the house. He said that my parents shouldn't be treating me like some animal, so he let Asia come by and get me so I could see Jordan. He doesn't know I'm coming over though. I haven't talked to him in days, mainly because mama shut off my phone. I just hope he's at his house.

"Thanks for picking me up," I said as we approached Jordan's lit up house.

"No problem," she shrugged. "How'd you manage to get out of the house?"

"My parents shipped me and my brother off to our grandparents for the evening while they went out on a date. My grandpa gives me anything I want, so he let me leave. He said he'd promise to keep it a secret just as long as I get back before my parents get back."

She laughed. "Damn. I like him. When are they coming back?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I have no idea, but knowing them, they're probably out having some crazy sex or something. I'm just gonna get back within an hour just to be on the safe side."

I stood at the end of the walk way, kind of nervous about seeing him. I haven't spoken to him in days and I know he's tried calling and texting me, and it may seem like I've been ignoring him. I just hope he doesn't think I've been ignoring him all of these days.

"I'll be in the car. Just hurry up girl," Asia said as she walked away from me, leaving me to face Jordan alone.

I took a deep breath and just walked up to his door. I can't back out now. Grandpa let me out, Asia came and got me, and I'm risking getting in even more trouble. I'm already over here and I've put enough people in my plan, so I might as well grow some balls and say something to him. For all I know, this could be the last time I leave the house alone in a long time. Mama and Daddy are probably going to lock me down even more if they found out I left.

I didn't even get a chance to knock on the door before it swung open, revealing Ashley. Her smile turned into a frown when she saw me. "What's up? Why you over here?"

"Where's Jordan?" I asked, disregarding the little attitude she had.

"Inside," she said, looking back, but she turned back to me. "Look, I'mma be real with you girl. Jordan's upset you been ignoring him. And you just disappeared. I mean, what happened to you girl? You ain't even call nobody."

"Nothing. Look, I just need to talk to him," I said, trying to walk around her. "Excuse me."

She blocked the entrance so I couldn't come inside. "Nah, the two of us are chillin' tonight. You had your turn with him."

I scrunched up my face while my arms folded up under my chest. "My turn? What the hell does that mean? Since when were we taking turns with him? You're supposed to be my girl. You're the one that plugged us, so what's up? Why you changing up on me? I don't talk to y'all for three days and now you're pushing up on my man? I'm not dead, you can't just take what's mine."

"Yours? We been fuckin' for the past year, so he ain't yours."

I frowned. "You two are sleeping together?" I asked, not sure if I should believe her or not.

Every guy acts differently around a girl he likes. When it's just Jordan and I, he's so sweet and caring and doesn't come off as a hoe like he did when we first met. Part of me believed they had been sleeping together because of both of their reputations, but then another part of me didn't believe her. Jordan's been talking about how he couldn't stand Ashley since the day I met him, so what would make him start sleeping with her all of a sudden? Especially when I'm around. The two of us haven't slept together, ever, but he said he wasn't with any other girls.
