Chapter 3

Victoria

        "What's up with Lindsey? She been cleaning up all night," Teddy said as he entered our bedroom.

        I couldn't even stomach to see Lindsey's face, so I told her to clean up down in the basement. She's disrespectful, and as much hell as I put my mother through, I never put her through anything compared to what Lindsey's putting me through. I knew I was going to get it ten times worse with Lindsey, but I never expected her to be so defiant and disrespectful. I don't know where I went wrong with her. Teddy and I loved her from the minute I had her, and I'll admit we've spoiled her too much, but she never acted like this when she was younger. This new her only started about a year ago when she started going out on her own.

        "I can't see her face right now, so I made her clean up."

        "Why? Y'all arguing again?"

        "I came into her room a few hours ago and tried coming to a reparation with her but she cussed me out talking about I don't run shit around here but my damn mouth, so I informed her about this nice military school in Maine and how she'll be going there if she doesn't get her act together and I beat her ass. I've been putting up with that disrespectful shit from your daughter long enough and I'm tired of it.

        Teddy sat behind me on the bed, laughing. "Why is she my daughter when ever y'all not getting along?"

        "Because I know you're the one putting ideas in her head about how she was going out tomorrow night. As of right now, she's not going out. I cut off her wifi and her phone off. She's completely shut down until further notice."

        "You're right. That's what she needs to steer her back on the right path," he said as he scooted behind me. He placed his hands on my shoulders and rubbed them with care, passionately kissing spots on my neck as well. "But what you need to do is take a couple deep breaths and just relax."

        I did as he said. I took a deep breath, but I still felt overwhelmed. "Teddy, this is--"

        "Take another deep breath," he mumbled as he lightly pressed his lips against the nape of my neck. 

        I took another deep breath, this time relaxing against his firm chest. 

        "That feel better?" he whispered.

        I nodded my head. "Yeah."

        "See, I told you it would," he said, pulling me closer to his warm body. "Just don't even think about the kids tonight. Let's just focus on me and you for the night."

        I twisted around in his lap so I could face him. Teddy continued to kiss at my neck, along my jaw line, and all over my face while his hands roamed to private parts of my body. His finger brushed against my thigh as he slid his hand through the opening of my shorts, purposely stroking my pearl against my panties. Teddy lifted his head up from my chest.

        "You that wet baby?" he asked.

        "Mhmm."

        Teddy flipped us over so he was on top of me and I was completely submerged under him and up to his power. "Just lemme take care of you tonight baby," he said as he pulled the covers up over the both of us before turning the lights off in our bedroom.

        Monday morning, I found myself back at my job. We didn't end up going out over the weekend like we planned. Teddy's finally starting to involve himself with me and Lindsey's situation and he's beginning to realize that it's not me that's causing all of the trouble, she plays a major role in our fights and arguments as well. So, he said from now on he'll be more strict on her and not go behind my back to give her her way.
