Chapter 28

The next morning I woke up with a text from an unknown number.
#: Hey are you okay? I heard about the crash. S: Who are you?
J: Jack Gilinsky
S: Oh im fine
J: That's good. Hey can you go to lunch with me today? We need to talk
S: Sure, where should we meet?

I drove up to the restaurant and parked. I hopped out of the car kind of nervous for what was about to happen.

I opened the door to find Jack sitting right in the front. He waved his hand to tell me to come and sit. I hesitantly walked over and sat down.

"Hey Jack." I said smiling. "Hello beautiful." He replied. "Don't flirt with me." I blushed as he winked at me.

"Nice cast." He laughed pointing at my wrist. "Thanks." I said laughing with him. Even though Jack raped me I consider him as a friend. (lol wutt)

"So what did you need to tell me?" I asked. "I know I've apologized so many times about what happened and I'm here to make it up to you." I looked at him confused.

"When you have your baby, I'll take it." He finished. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I'll take it off of your hands. My aunt said she could take care of it." Jack explained.

I know it sounds weird, but I liked the idea. I don't need a baby yet. I still have to finish high school and college. I still have to live a memorable life.

"As long as I can visit." I smiled. "Of course baby." He replied and reached over the table to grab my hand. "Anything for you."

Jack and I walked outside together and me hugged me and said goodbye.

"I can't thank you enough." I said as we released. "Its the least I could do." He replied smiling.

When I got in my car I had a lot of text messages, all from Matt.
M: goodmorning beautiful
M: Can we hang out today?
M: baby i need to see you
M: and hear that cute little laugh of yours
M: God I love you so much
M: how did I ever get so lucky?

I blushed at all of these texts and told him I could hang out in an hour.

I rushed back home and watched Netflix until Matt came.

"Hello gorgeous." He greeted me limping a little on his way through the door.

"Did you do anything earlier today?" He asked. I didn't really want to tell him that I went out to lunch with Jack.

"Oh nothing." I said. "Oh really because your car was gone and you wouldn't answer my texts." He spat out.

I couldn't hold it in. "I went out to lunch with Jack today." I blurted.

"Are you serious? Why would you do that?" He questioned. "He wanted to talk to me so I went." I answered.

"Okay sure talk." He said emphasizing the word talk. "More like hook up." He muttered under his breath.

I gasped at this comment. "Matthew Lee Espinosa!" I yelled. "Are you serious? You really think I would hook up with him?!"

"As a matter of fact yes I would!" He shouted.

I started to tear up and I ran into my room. "Skyler please come back!" Matt yelled chasing after me.

"Just leave!" I yelled through the door. "I'm so sorry I said that. I just don't want you to get hurt by him again. But more than that I don't want him to take you away from me." Matt said. "I love you more than anything in the whole world."

I opened up the door, my eyes puffy. "Awh come here baby." Matt said hugging me. "I love you Matt." I said into his chest.

"I love you too." He replied and pecked my lips
