Chapter 4

I don't know what to say. I just looked at him funny. "Y-your a player." I stuttered. "No I'm not," Matt said clearly lying. "I'm not dating you, never." I said. "Why not?" Matt asked getting a bit angry. "Your just going to play me and then move on to another girl." I said. Matt just looked down at his shoes. "I can't help it." He started. "I will try not to play you Skyler just give me one chance, I'm truly into you." "No." I said firmly. The ride was over. Thank god.
Courtney and I left after that ride. "So what did you and Matt talk about?" She asked. "You looked really weirded out when you got off the ride." "Well Matt confessed that he liked me, he tried to get me to date him but I didn't because I don't want to be played." I said. "I know you like him-" "No I don't!" I quickly cut her off. "Yeah you do you were checking him out Skyler. Even a blind person could see that." She stated. Courtney pulled up in my driveway and I hopped out of the car. "See ya Court!" I said as I slammed the door.
My parents weren't home yet. It was only 10:00. I walked into my room and found a gift laying on my bed. I opened it only to see it was a brand new laptop. there was a note. It read

The best part was it had a free month Netflix on it. I started watching AHS but after a couple of episodes I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning and got ready putting on some shorts and a crop top. I finished it off with a bit of makeup and my gray vans. Courtney picked me up in her car and drove us to school. I walked into the school and rushed to my first class.
When I got in I saw Matt. I he was talking to his friends as usual. Except today he actually turned and looked at me. He winked at me, causing me to blush. He then turned back to his friends.
The next three classes I had Matt was in also. He kept on staring at me, making it super awkward. I whispered to him, "Stop looking at me." He just looked me up and down making me blush again. After class I ran to the lunch room. I needed to talk to Courtney. I found her sitting across from Nash. "I need to talk to you about Ma-" I started saying before Matt sat down right in front of me. "What about me?" He asked smirking. "I know you want me, all the girls at this school do." He winked. "I don't want you Matt. Your a player and I know better." I said picking up my tray and moving to another table. He just followed me and sat down in front of me again. "How hard do I have to work to get away from you?" I asked with a fake smile on my face. "Its going to take a lot babe." He said biting his lip. I couldn't help but think how hot he looked right now.
