"Oh, so the Madrigals house set up to idiots to be together? Or some shit?" Ale asks
"What?!" I scream as I look up at Ale
"Woah Woah Woah! We ain't marrying off my sister here buddy!" Marco says as he pokes Ale's chest
"I never said we were I was just asking! You dumbass!" Ale says now poking Marcos chest
"Mamá!" I say as I look over at her
She just smiles nervously and shrugs before turning to my Abuelo with a worried expression
"Papá...." My mom says as Abuelo places hold his chin with his index finger and thumb and begins to pace
"We had gone to all of the Madrigals Gift Ceremony's before Camilo and Y/n were even born and nothing like that had ever happened, then Mirabel's situation happened and then Camilo's situation....but yet it was so much different compared to Mirabels because in the end he still got one but he instead split it with Y/n by accident...." Abuelo mumbles as he paces
"And....we broke Abuelo" I say as I plop my head into my hands "what're we gonna do" I groan
"The only thing we can do," my Papá says as he looks at my mamá "Go to Antonio's Gift Ceremony..." My mamá finishes
"Y/n, stay by Carlos the whole night. Do not go near any of the Madrigals except for Mirabel since she's pretty much harmless" Abuelo says
"And what about Camilo? He's probably just as curious as me as to what happened earlier" I say
"Avoid him." Abuelo says as he walks up the stairs "now everyone go and get ready!"
~Time Skip to Walking ti the Madrigal house~
I walk beside Carlos and Marco and fiddle with my clothes as my mind races with all the possible things that could go wrong tonight
"Hey Calm down Y/n/n as long as you stick with me or Mirabel you'll be fine. I filled her in on everything" Carlos says to me as he pays my head
"Carlos and Mirabel have been friends ever since they were born, they were both inseparable until Camilo's gift ceremony. That's when both family split but Carlos and Mirabel always had found a way to see each other, which is why I always tease him that he likes her and he in fact does" I think before I feel a nudge to my elbow and I look up at Marco
"We're coming up to the Madrigals and from I can see Camilo's greeting everyone...." Marco says to me and my eyes widen
"Fuck." I say under my breath
"No kidding" Marco and Carlos say in unison as we all get closer to the house
We finally get only a few feet away from the door when Camilo walks up and greets my Abuelo and parents and aunt and uncle.
"Hola L/n's welcome to the Madrigals casa we're so happy to have you guys coming back!" Camilo says as he shape shifts into the twins and starts running around with them
"Please don't see me please don't see me please see m—" I mumble to myself before Camilo cuts me off by greeting Marco
"Hey Marco! Long time no see man!" Camilo says as he shifts into Another Marco and hugs him
I quickly get behind Carlos while Camilo is distracted and rush to my parents not giving Camilo time to see me
Once I get inside with my parents I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in. I look around and take in the beauty of the Madrigals house, it's been so long since I've seen it last and it's had some upgrades
