~Camilo's P.O.V~
I pace in my room as I think about what Abuela did and the fear.....the fear and shock in Y/n's eyes when Abuela threw her out AGAIN!!
I stomp my foot as I groan in frustration before just laying down on the floor and staring at my ceiling.
"Wow does Abuela have to be this way? Y/n didn't mean to take some of my gift all those years ago, we were only 5!" I think to myself as I bring Y/n's bracelet to my face
"Maybe it's my fault, I mean all I was thinking about that night was Y/n, and he cute little laugh and that smirk that I love" I think as I feel my face begin to burn up by just the thought of her
"Ughhhhhhh I feel like a lovesick puppy dog!" I say as I let my arms fall to my side on the floor
"That's because you are a lovesick puppy dog you damn idiot" Dolores says
I look up at her from my spot on the floor, she's standing in the doorway like a weirdo, before looking back up at my ceiling giving a bored expression
"Look Cami, Abuela wants to see you and—" Dolores starts before I cut her off
"Well tell Abuela I don't want to see her! This is the second time she's thrown Y/n out of our house and I'm sick of it!" I angrily say as I look back up at Dolores
"Alright but when Abuela comes barging into your room don't come crying to me" Dolores says but before she fully closes the door she sticks her head in for a quick second
"Oh! And Y/n and Mirabel are talking about you! Ok bye!" Dolores says before shutting my door all the way
"Wait!!" I yell as I quickly try to stand up but end up falling face first
I groan and stand back up again and run out of my room to go and find Dolores, I run past an angry Abuela down the stairs and into the kitchen. I look around and don't see her so I run into the living room, Nope. Center of Casita, nope. Her room? Maybe.
I run back up the stairs and burst through Dolores's door to see her with binoculars looking out her window in the direction of Y/n's house
"Damn I knew you ease-dropped on people but I didn't know you also spied on them too" I say as I walk up beside her
"I'm just seeing what Mirabel and Y/n are up to, I heard Mirabel say how the house was cracking and the candle almost went out" Dolores says and I roll my eyes
"We all heard that part sis" I say as I take the binoculars from her
"Yes but Mirabel was saying how maybe Tio Bruno had something to do with it" She says and I take the binoculars away from my eyes and look at her
"What? How would HE be involved? He's been gone for years Dolores" I say as I raise an eyebrow at her
"I don't know that's why I'm trying to listen now would you hush!" She says as she extends her ear out
I roll my eyes and scoff as I bring the binoculars back up to my eyes and see Y/n talking Mirabel
"She looks so pretty in the moonlight...." I think to myself as I give a small smile
"You look like an idiot smiling like that" Dolores says and I look at her and stick my tongue out at her before turning back to the binoculars
I watch as they continue talking, and Dolores repeating everything they're saying although I'm not listening to her, Mirabel then plops down onto Y/n and Y/n tries to throw her off. I chuckle a little as Y/n succeeds and push's Mirabel off, I see Mirabel begin to look like she's begging Y/n for something and i zone back into what Dolores is saying
"....Fine" Dolores says as Mirabel moves her mouth
"Welp Cami, you may not have a girlfriend anymore" Dolores says and I quickly look at her
"A: she's not my girlfriend and B: what?" I say
"Mirabel is gonna go into Tio Bruno's Tower with Y/n to see if they can find anything about why Casita was cracking" Dolores says and I stare at her wide eyed
"Well I'm gonna go and get some sleep because Mirabel is coming back so night hermano" Dolores says as she walks out of my room and leaves me be
"is she trying to kill Y/n?! Ugh! Mirabel don't take Y/n! Oh what the hell you won't listen to me, welp....I've protected Y/n once so what's the pain in protecting her again" I think to myself as I change into my night clothes and crawl into my bed and under the covers
As I lay in my bed and stare at the ceiling I hear Mirabel walk up the stairs and "quietly" walk past my room going to hers but she manages to trip....
I groggily get up with a groan and walk over to my door opening it and seeing Mirabel dusting herself off.
"Mirabel..." I say as I stare at her
"Aye! Camilo, what the hell man! I thought you were asleep" Mirabel says
"Nope, but anyways I have a question for you" I say and she raises an eyebrow at me, encouraging me to continue
"Why are you taking Y/n with you into Bruno's tower? What if she gets hurt" I say as I cross my arms and tap my foot
"You and Dolores were spying on us weren't you" Mirabel says with a deadpanned expression
"Duh! Now answer my question" I demand
"Because she's the only one who believes me and she saw the cracks too. Look I know you like and care about her but I NEED her for this, you know what happened with Tio Bruno and what he said about her" she says and I look down and nod
"Just.....keep her safe, I don't want to lose her for good this time" I say as I look back up at Mirabel
"Don't worry, I'll keep your little girlfriend safe" Mirabel says as she nudges me and I smile
"Night!" We both say before so close my door and crawl back into bed
I smile up at the ceiling as I begin to doze off
That night I had the worst nightmare ever.......
