Chapter 30: Reunited

~Y/n P.O.V~

We all race back to the two, my puma taking a short cut by hoping up some rocks and running through a different part of the forest.

As my puma runs along I take a look at the scenery and smile before looking down at my rat who's hanging in for dear life. I place my hand under its stomach and hold it as it latches itself to my hand again.

"I don't even know if you're a boy...eh we'll ask Bruno later" I think to myself as we jump down from the cliff and see Mirabel,Alma and Bruno all below us

Soon we see the town again and my puma runs on top of all the houses

"I'm gonna stop by my family first" I yell out to them and see Mirabel nod

My Puma goes the back way and soon I'm on the doorstep of my house, I wince once again due to the pain but hold on a little longer as I walk up to the door. I walk up to the door and do our secret code knock thing and a second later the door is flung open and I see Marco

"Heyyyyy Marco, do I look good for a dead bitch?" I ask as he stands there wide eyed

"Y/n's alive!!!" Marco yells through the house before running up to me and hugging me

"Ow back pain back pain!!" I say as he moves his arms so they aren't going right across my wound

Soon my whole family is running out the front door, Drew and Grey come running up to me and hug my legs as they both cry

"I though you were dead!" Drew cries

"Camilo said you fell and died!!" Grey cries and I kneel down so I'm face to face with them

"I couldn't leave you two alone here. So I came back!" I say and they both hug and are careful not to touch the wound on my back

"You little shit! Do you know how fucking scared this family was?! Do you know how many tears we shed over your 'dead' body?!" Ale angrily says to me as we walks up to me

"Hey at least it shows you care...?" I say as I shrug and he pulls me into a hug

"Don't fucking do that again." He mumbles before letting go and gently flicking my forehead

Them Carlos wake up and hugs the everlasting shit out of me, and I wince before he lets go

"You gave everyone a fright. God you should see Camilo, he's a fucking mess." Carlos says and I frown

"He's never gonna let me out of his sight after this. And I can forget adventures with Mirabel.......nahhh I'm still gonna do em" I say to Carlos and he face palms

Santiago walks up to me but won't make eye contact with me, so I bend down and little to meet his eyes and see he's crying

"Santi, I'm okay buddy!" I say as I cup his cheeks and wipe his tears with my thumb

"I thought you were gone for good.....I thought I lost my only girl cousin....I thought I lost my story buddy..." Santiago says before hugging me tightly

"I'm sorry Santi, I promise I will never scare you like that again. And I've got a lot of fight in, especially knowing that my story buddy is waiting for me" I say as I lightly pinch his nose and he smiles and laughs before I kiss his forehead and walk off towards my parents

My mom meets me halfway and locks me in the tightest hug I've received so far as my dad joins in and I hug them both back, as my mom pulls away she hits the top of my head

"What we're you thinking?! Going after Mirabel! You could've died!! Hell we thought you did!" My mom yells at me as my dad nods at everything my mom says from beside her
