I feel Camilo stir beside me and I quickly roll onto my side to face him before I just sit up
"Camilo...?" I ask as I see his eyebrows furrow
"Y/n....please...please I'm scared......y/n....Y/N!!" Camilo yells before he sits up with wide eyes
Camilo looks around before he sees me and he tightly hugs me, I hug him back as he begins to cry
"Please don't ever leave me again! I...I was scared! I thought you had been kidnapped or...I don't Amor I was just scared...." Camilo says as he pulls away and I cup his face to see all his tears
As I stare at him I bite my lip to stop myself from crying as Camilo sniffs before looking at me and resting his forehead against mine and softly whimpering
"I'm sorry Camilo....I'm so sorry, I was stupid to go with Mirabel when I know you're like this....I thought Carlos or your Abuelo Pedro were gonna tell you where I was since they both knew....I guess I was wrong, I won't leave Casita without you again" I say as a few tears slip from my eyes and I feel Camilo pull away before he cups my face
I look at him and softly smile as I move a strand of hair from his face before he lets go of my face and leans into my touch. I softly stroke his cheek with my thumb. More tears fall from his closed eyes and I gently wipe them away. Camilo wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me into his lap as he lays his head against my chest, I presume listening to my heartbeat
"Why do you always lay your head on my chest Amor?" I ask as I gently run my fingers through his hair
"For confirmation that I'm not dreaming, that's why I fear whenever you go out without me. That and the fact something may happen to you. I fear that I may see you walk out Casitas doors and then I'll wake up.....realizing all this was just a dream" Camilo says as I smile
"I can promise you this isn't a dream. I'm here and I'm okay.....and I got some cool ass scars to prove this shit is real" I say and Camilo laughs as do I
"Alright alright before we get all sappy and cuddley why don't we go downstairs, make some snacks and come back up here and build a fort" I say and I feel Camilo smile before he perks up
"Ohhh! Do you think my Tía can make me some of her Arepas?!" Camilo asks as he looks up at me
"Damn, you must love those a lot, I seriously gotta ask your Tía to teach me how to make those" I say before Camilo lifts his head off of my chest but keeps his grip on my waist
Camilo quickly throws off his blanket before running to his door leaving me to shut on the bed
"You stay here, I'll get everything!" Camilo says as he opens his door and leaves....before poking his head back in
"And when I say STAY HERE I mean it!" Camilo says and I stick my tongue out at him before he actually leaves
I go around and gather all his blankets and some fairy lights I had stolen from Mirabels room and hang them up all around the little first I had created. I stand back and admire my work proudly before Camilo walks in with his hands full of snacks
"Lord Camilo! I didn't think you gonna get that much shit!" I say as I rush over and help him with some of the snacks he brought, he of course keeps the Arepas
