Chapter 43: Payback

~Y/n P.O.V~

I pull away from the kiss and rest my forehead against Camilo's, he continues to hold me in place on his lap as we just sit there.

"Let's get some sleep Amor" I say before he slightly let's go of my waist and I lay down

This time he gives me the spot near the wall while he takes the side that open. Camilo pulls me against his chest, being the big spoon for once, and I smile as I hear his heartbeat.

He softly begins to run his fingers through my hair and sigh with a smile on my face as I slowly drift off to sleep

~Morning~

I wake up to a heavy weight on top of me and I groan before opening my eyes and seeing a passed out Camilo

"God I love him but he's like a damn puppy!!" I think to myself as I try to shove him off but he grunts and holds me tighter

I groan before ultimately giving up and just laying there, messing with Camilo's hair, aka gently pulling one of his curls up and letting it go to watch it bounce. I continue to do that for another couple of minutes before someone gently taps their fingers on Camilo's door

"Come in Dolores" I say and she opens the door before gently closing it behind her

"Can I talk to you two real quick" Dolores says and Camilo immediately sits up as I perk up

"Is it about Carlos?" We both ask and she nods and I scoff

"What did that dick do now?" I ask as she grabs a chair from Camilo's desk and places it beside Camilo's bed

"Well I'm sure you both know already that's he's trying to split you two up?" Dolores says and me and Camilo look at each other

"I figured that was his plan but now hearing it confirmed it just doesn't....." I say as I cross my arms and hold myself

"Dick" Camilo mumbles

"Carlos and 'Pedro' are planning something, they're stupid enough to talk to Camilo and try to make him believe you cheated. But they're smart enough to not talk about what they're really up to" Dolores says and I groan

"We can kick Carlos about but not 'Pedro'" Camilo says and we all nod

"Well Bruno, your Tío, your dad and me and Dolores are all in this little mission that we call 'Spy Rats' so I mean that could help us get some info, especially if the rats can get ahold of whatever,maybe paper, they're using to communicate" I say and Dolores nods as Camilo looks at the both of us

"When was this created?" Camilo asks and me and Dolores look at each other before smiling and shrugging

"It's not nice to keep secrets you two!" Camilo says as I roll my eyes and stand up

"Dolores you be on the lookout, or hear out whatever, while I go and talk to Bruno to see if he's gotten Antonio on board yet" I say as she nods and we walk towards the door

"Wait! Antonio was even involved?! Why was I—!" Camilo says before I close the door behind me and Dolores, cutting him off

"What're you gonna do?" Dolores asks and I look at her

"Well you're gonna go and see if the 'Spy Rats' are ready, I'm gonna go and have a nice friendly chat with my cousin" I say, the last bit through gritted teeth

"Don't do something stupid" Dolores says before walking towards Señor Bruno's room

"No fucking promises" I think to myself as I hall my fists and walk towards Mirabels room
