The next morning when Gulf opens his eyes, it's still dark outside. Looking at his phone shows him it's 5 am, his usual time to wake up, and on a normal day he would go straight to the bathroom to freshen up and go for his morning jog but today he doesn't move. Before opening his eyes he was hoping that yesterday was just a big nightmare and he would wake up at his condo as usual but the new room he wakes up in, is proof that the previous day's events had indeed happened. It doesn't help that he is still in yesterday's clothes.
He sighs as his thoughts start to go the sad path again and sits up, glancing at the bed. Mew is still sleeping, so he tiptoes towards the bathroom to freshen up before deciding what to do.
For the obvious reason, it's weird to be at a place he isn't familiar with, and since the bathroom can be accessed only by walking through the walk-in closet, he feels like he is intruding on Mew's privacy, but he has no other option so he just goes ahead with it. The sparkling en suite bathroom is inside the closet which itself is a large room and seemed to house a whole clothing store inside it. Not wanting to stay there longer than necessary, he quickly freshens up and comes out only to wince after looking at the mess inside the room. He had almost forgotten about it.
After fifteen minutes of navigating his way through the house and searching, he finally finds the cleaning supplies in the storage closet near the kitchen hallway. He pouts, at his house it's kept under the kitchen sink and is quite easy to find. But then again, this house itself is bigger than his family home!
It's really a big house for only two people. The two storey mansion is a wedding present from Mew's parents, so he guesses they have gone all out to make sure that their son and his partner would be comfortable. Yesterday, he was too occupied in his thoughts to pay attention to his surroundings but now he can see it's a beautiful place; modern and classy, not too extravagant but still screaming money. The bedroom itself has pretty much given him the idea but he is still in awe of his surroundings as he makes his way back to the room.
After cleaning the room as quietly as he could, he decides to take a shower before going down for breakfast. His things are still at his condo and house but Mew's secretary Mild had prepared a bag for him with basic things and some casual clothes he would need for the time being. Showering and getting ready in record time, he keeps a hangover medicine with a glass of water on the bedside table for Mew and then makes his way down to the kitchen.

"Sir?"
Gulf almost drops his coffee in fright from the sudden voice. He whirls around to see an elderly woman looking at him curiously. He recognizes her as the woman who had opened the door for them yesterday.
"I am sorry Sir, it wasn't my intention to scare you," the woman apologizes.
"Oh no, it's okay!" he hastily assures her, "and, please call me Gulf" he adds, his cheeks tinting pink in embarrassment. It's too odd to be called 'Sir' by someone so older than him. She seemed almost of his mother's age if he had to guess, it feels too disrespectful.
The woman smiles kindly, "Okay, Sir Gulf and you can call me Fon. Let me help you with the coffee" she offers.
"Oh, no, no P'Fon! Not 'Sir Gulf', just call me Gulf" he explains, "and I have already made coffee for myself, uh....would you like one too?" he offers, shy. It takes him time to loosen up in the presence of someone new.
Fon can't help but smile at his new boss. He is so polite and his awkward shyness made him so cute, she almost cooed! Her motherly instincts were taking over and she wanted to pinch his cheeks in awe.
Gulf gets to know Fon is head of the staff, and she also introduces him to other staff of the house. After that he sits at the breakfast table with his coffee, talking to P'Fon while she prepares breakfast. He wanted to help her but she had just given him a motherly glare and told him to stay put at the table. So he sat back and listened to her as she talked. He gets to know that she had been working for the Jongcheveevats since she was in her early twenties which made it almost three decades now. She used to work in the Jongcheveevat Mansion; Mew's parents' house, but now will be working here as she is now assigned to take care of the new couple. She also talks about her family and how she had met her husband here too, who was a driver/bodyguard for Mew's father.
While P'Fon brings out the breakfast at the dining table, he makes a cup of coffee for Mew. When Fon tells him Mew likes his coffee black and without sugar, his nose scrunches up unconsciously. He could never. He likes sweets too much, especially cakes!
Making the coffee as per Mew's taste, he takes it upstairs and knocks on the bedroom door. He wants to talk to the man about their situation and gathers this would give him a chance to. When no one answers the door, he hesitatingly pushes it open only to see the room is empty, so he supposes Mew must be in the bathroom.
