I realised, I haven't mentioned Gulf's kidnappers name. So, lets call him J.

Mew purses his lips at the report. Another mishap on site. This has been the third time this has happened in the span of six months, counting the fire incident from weeks ago. Rubbing his tired eyes, he closes the file.

A knock pulls him out of his thoughts and Tamp walks inside, looking dead serious. It's like a Deja Vu, and he hopes it's nothing about Gulf this time.

With a bated breath, he watches as Tamp places an envelope on his desk, "Boss, this came today."

Mew reaches for the envelope. Even if it's not about Gulf it can't be good either if Tamp looks so grim. There isn't any name or address of the sender on the envelope, just a plain brown envelope addressed to him. Weird.

Reaching inside he pulls a single note which has a few printed lines that read:

"Heard you have been looking for me.

Funny.

Good luck.

Btw, Say Hi to Gulf from me. Will see him soon."

It doesn't even take him a second to discern who could it be from. This is...that fucker!

"No addresses, no sender, no fingerprints, no footage of who delivered it" Tamp informs. "The receptionist found it with the other mails. She informed me because it looked suspicious that it had no information about the sender."

"How did it reach our mailbox and we don't have it on camera?"

"Could have come with the mail boy. Already checked with him but he said he didn't see this envelope in the pile he delivered but the footage has him bumped into a man just outside the gate and dropping the mails. Chances are the man who he had bumped into and had helped him pick up the mails must have slipped it into the pile."

"And of course, mailboy didn't see the man?" Mew grits his teeth, already guessing the story. This person is more devious than he had imagined, but then again he has been roaming free without getting caught for his heinous crime so he must be capable of something like this without much trouble.

"No Boss, he was wearing a mask." Tamp answers his question. "But we aren't leaving the mailboy out of suspicion either. The other guys are running a background search on him."

Mew glares at the words in the letter. Will see him soon? This fucker! If he thinks he can get to Gulf this time he has another thing coming for him. He has no idea what Mew Suppasit is capable of, especially when it comes to his loved ones. "The game is on, you bastard!"

"Do you really think it's J?" Tamp questions suddenly.

Mew frowns at his doubtful expression "You don't think so?" The letter isn't signed but it's not needed. The message is clear enough. What's there to doubt?

"No, it just seems suspicious. This person J...he has gone into hiding for three years. Mr. Aroon and Inspector Boat have been looking for him for all this time and have been unsuccessful. He had been hiding without leaving any trace. And now we have been looking for him too, so why would he suddenly risk sending us a letter when he knows he could be found out?"

"There's something called overconfidence, Tamp. He thinks he is too smart for us. Because he hasn't been caught until now, he thinks he wouldn't be ever and sent us this."

"But why now, Boss? And you know one thing has been bugging me since the beginning, that although he was an obsessed stalker, he never tried to approach Sir Gulf again even when Sir Gulf was unprotected all this time. He only had his father's pendant with him as a tracker as protection which this J guy had no way of knowing. So why didn't he show himself up ever again? Why wait for three years?"
