"I swear if you flash your ring one more time I will have to just break your hand!"

Mew doesn't stop drumming his fingers on the file that he had on Mild's office desk purposely as he raises his eyebrows feigning nonchalance, "What are you even talking about? And is that a way to talk to your Boss? Mild, you realize we are at work, right?"

Mild rolls his eyes, "It's my lunch break, which you are wasting just because you want to rub in everyone's faces what a happy married life you have!"

Mew scoffs, "You finished your lunch ten minutes ago and I am doing no such thing as you accused me of. I just came to give you this file."

"Well, I will be able to take that file if you fucking move your hand. Gosh! I get it that Gulfie gave you a ring as a gift, now fuck off!" Mild throws his hands in the air in frustration.

"You people are just jealous!" Mew makes a face. "And what did you say? 'a ring' ? Never insult this masterpiece like that ever again! Gulf has MADE this for me with his own hands. God! You are so ignorant!"

Mild gives him a flat look, "Ignorant you say? How many days has it been since your anniversary? Two fucking days and you are still torturing us. Our group chat is nothing but full of pictures of your slimy hand where you are showing off your ring. Even Gulf is getting embarrassed by your behaviour! He is not even bothering to check the group chat now because he knows you are here just being stupid!

"Embarrassed? Ha! You wish!" Mew scoffs, "Gulf LOVES me. Know what that means? And he also said I am amazing!" he raises his chin haughtily. "And by the way, he isn't checking the group chat because he is busy with his work. He had informed me in the morning itself."

"Well, at least he is working, unlike someone who is the CEO of the biggest corporation but is busy being stupid" Mild huffs.

Mew has enough of his secretary insulting him, "You are fired."

"Oh fucking finally! So, when do I vacate this office?" Mild scowls.

Mew makes a face and stands up to leave, "Okay fine! I am leaving and won't disturb you anymore!" he huffs.

When he is back in his office, back to his seat, he looks at his right hand again, where the thumb ring Gulf had gifted him is sitting perfectly. Yes, Gulf's gift for him (besides the promises and those beautiful three words which had reduced him to an ugly crying mess) on their anniversary was this thumb ring. A simple but beautiful platinum band with a small diamond studded in the middle and a sun and sunflower engraving on its inside. But that isn't even everything, what had blown him away was the fact that his baby had made this ring himself. And Gulf hadn't even bothered to mention this fact to him and he would have been unaware of it if it wasn't for Bow.

Since Gulf had taken Bow's help to make the ring and since his friends are nosy and can't mind their own business (which he is thankful for in this case), Bow had called him the next evening to know his reaction about it. She was shocked to know that he had no idea what she was talking about, that Gulf hadn't even told him that he had made the ring himself. Gulf has made the ring himself, that was the reason he was sporting those cuts on his fingers. He was shocked too and had told her he would call her later because he was literally speechless.

They had exchanged the gifts the next morning of their anniversary because the night before, it was really past midnight by the time they were back in the car and Gulf was barely able to keep his eyes open to even get in the car. His gift for Gulf was simple (because he knew Gulf would murder him if he got something expensive for him), something that had caught his eyes and he had known at the first glance that it was made just for his baby. A sleek, platinum, open cuff bracelet with a knot design in the middle that also looks like an infinity symbol. It was beautiful and he knew it would look really pretty on Gulf's wrist. And he was right, it did when Gulf had adorned it.
