Chapter 66

"I might have been kidnapped."

Mew stops breathing.

"Wait!" his husband screeches, continuing hurriedly, "Do not panic! Do not panic, teerak."

The effect of his words is counter-productive for the obvious reasons. "HOW CAN I NOT AFTER KNOWING THAT YOU ARE KIDNAPPED?! AND WHY IN THE HELL ARE YOU SO CALM?"

"Because you are panicking enough for both of us!" Gulf whines. "Mr.Suppasit, sit down first, okay? Sit down and take a deep breath."

"What in the world?" What is wrong with this boy?!

"Do it" he orders grumpily now.

Speechless, Mew follows his request, Tamp giving him a questioning look in the middle of tracing the call. He puts the phone on speaker before asking befuddled, "Baby, do you even realize the situation you are in?"

"I do. But I am absolutely alright..um....so far. So Just...just come to pick me up. You can track me through this call, right?"

"Tamp's on it" he informs, still reeling from the fact that Gulf is in danger.

"Gosh, already? I love you guys! Oh, which reminds me..." there's a pause before the boy continues, "I...I love you, Mr.Suppasit. I haven't said it enough, but you know how much I love you, right?"

Mew can hear the little tremor in his voice and his hold tightens on his phone, his stomach clenching in fear. His baby is scared. He is there alone, and scared, but trying to seem brave to not worry him.

"I love you, teerak, so much. I am sorry I haven't said it enough and now I am here and I don't know if..." his voice hitches.

"Baby, listen! Gulf, you listen to me" Mew urges, his own heart racing in fear but he'll be damned if he let his boy feel the same, "I love you too, more than you will ever know...and you know what? You can tell me how much you love me, to your heart's content, when you are here back in my arms. I am coming to take you, okay? Now tell me what you can see around you?"

"They had kept me in a basement but I escaped. This...seems kind of an abandoned mansion, there are a lot of hallways and rooms but I can't find any exit. So I am hiding in one of the rooms" Gulf explains, taking a deep breath, regaining his composure.

"You have been so brave, tua-eng. God! I am so proud of you!" He rises from his chair as Tamp signals to him that he has the location.

"It's dark here though and dirty, and I just made eye contact with a lizard."

"I am so sorry, baby, but just a little more wait. We have the location now. You make sure the door is locked from the inside and stay put, okay? I will be there soon."

"Oka- No wait, Mr.Suppasit!" the boy calls hastily. "You don't have to come here yourself...it's...it's dangerous here."

"That's-"

"Just send your bodyguards, those big guys who saved me from reporters once, and send P'David too."

"Now, who is that?"

"He is the tallest one in your security team, even taller than P'Tamp, really strong and scary, and crushes watermelons with his bare hands" Gulf provides easily.

Tamp looks at him from his spot, "Keep talking to him. Try to keep him calm."

"He is the one who is keeping me calm" he thinks, while nodding at his bodyguard who goes back to talking to the security team.
