It's a long Chapter. Like really long, equivalent to two chapters actually, but couldn't help it.

Hope you enjoy reading it. ❤

"No."

"What do you mean by 'No'?"

"No: It's a word used to express dissent, denial, or refusal, as in response to a question or request."

"I am not in the mood of jokes, Gulf!"

"So am I, Mr.Suppasit!"

Mew shakes his head, "it's not up for a discussion. My decision is final."

Gulf frowns, "I refuse."

"I don't care."

"You can't do this!"

"I am doing it."

"How can you?"

"By not listening to you."

"You are cruel."

"That's my second name."

"Mr. Suppasit!"

"That's my first."

"Mr. Suppasit!"

"Gulf!"

Crossing his arms across his chest, Gulf scowls at the man. They were at the dining table, eating their dinner peacefully when Mew brought up the topic of his security. The man is assigning him bodyguards! Not one, but two! But there is no way he is going around with bodyguards in tow! He had even refused his father when he had tried to assign a bodyguard to him. He isn't some child, he can take care of himself. He tells the man the same.

Mew sighs, "Don't be stubborn, ba- Gulf. I am just trying to look out for you. You saw what happened today with the reporters, right?"

"But you said you released a statement so they will leave me alone."

"They won't, at least not for a while."

"But I don't want bodyguards. I won't be comfortable" he whines.

"It's for your safety, you brat!" Mew finally snaps.

"I can take care of myself" he asserts.

"You froze earlier when the reporters approached you!"

"I was just caught off-guard because they came on so suddenly. Now that I am aware of the situation, I will be alert, I promise."

"No."

"No?"

"It's a word used to express dissent, denial, or refusal, as in response to a question or request" Mew throws his words back at him before going back to eating.

Gulf huffs. Okay, he isn't stupid and he understands that the man is just looking out for him. And the bodyguards were for his safety but there is no need for two! It's not like someone is going to attack him! Even if someone does, he is trained in kickboxing and taekwondo. He wasn't joking when he had told him months back that he could pack a really heavy punch. His mind suddenly goes to the incident in the afternoon at Mew's office and he tries not to dwell on how he may have kicked Mew's COO too hard.

Mentally shaking his head to get rid of that thought, he glances at the man beside him, it doesn't look like he is going to budge from his decision. He is definitely much harder to convince than his father. Well then, he has no choice but to negotiate.

"Umm...Mr. Suppasit?"

Looking up from his plate, Mew raises an eyebrow at him, "you still got something to say?"
