"Make sure the media doesn't get wind of this. It is just a small accident. It was no one's fault" Mew is talking into his phone, balancing the device between his ear and shoulder and drops his laptop bag at the table before slumping on the couch. But the next second, he hisses as a sharp pain shoots up his injured arm at the sudden movement.

A few hours ago, he was at one of his sites to check the progress of their ongoing project, when the accident happened. It wasn't something big and as he was there he had immediately intervened to help but got hurt in the process. A huge block of wood was about to fall where a few of his employees were standing. Fortunately, he had noticed on time and was able to push them aside, but apparently, he hadn't realized, in order to save them he was putting himself in danger. But Tamp was quicker; his bodyguard was able to move him on time. But since Mew wasn't expecting it he lost his balance and tumbled down. While he was able to escape the accident with a minor sprain in his right arm and a small cut on his palm, his bodyguard got injured quite severely.

Apparently, the wooden block Tamp saved him from had a few big and rusted nails sticking out from it and that part had directly fallen on his bodyguard's right hand. It had cut into his forearm right from the middle of his arm to the elbow.

They both were immediately taken to the hospital. Mew had to get his sprained arm bandaged and supported with an arm sling and two stitches for the cut on his palm, while Tamp got fourteen stitches for the cut on his arm and one on his temple. But despite all that Mew was relieved, It could have been a much bigger accident if they hadn't moved on time but thanks to their quick reflexes it didn't do much harm and he was relieved that his employees were safe.

"Fuck! this hurts!" Mew cradles his hand to his chest as gently as he can. "Of course it hurts Mild. I am only a human, you see. Now go back to whatever you were doing and make sure this doesn't get out to the media. Let's not make it bigger than it is" saying he disconnects the call. That's when he notices Gulf standing at his side, watching him with wide eyes. 

"Mr Suppasit, what happened?" he hears his soft, worried voice. 

"Nothing. Go back to what you were doing" he waves him off and stands up from his seat. But frowns, halting in his step when the boy blocks his path, his eyes zeroed on his injured hand in the sling.

"It's obviously not 'nothing', Mr Suppasit. You are hurt! Are you..the blood...is the injury serious?" the boy fumbles, forehead creased with worry. "Are you okay?"

Is this kid worried for him? Despite himself, Mew feels something flutter in his stomach at the thought. "The fuck is wrong with me?" He clears his throat, hoping the warm fuzz stirring in his stomach disappears away and replies "It's not that serious. Just a small accident at the site. The doctor has made it look worse than it is with all these bandages and this sling" he assures.

"But the blood..." the boy inquires again, unconvinced.

"It's not mine. Tamp got hurt while saving me, it's his" he answers, patiently. He doesn't want the boy to be worried for him. After all, they were practically just strangers.

But looks like instead of assuring the boy his words have the opposite effect as another set of questions are fired on him "P'Tamp? What happened to him? Is he okay? How did all this happen?"

Mew closes his eyes briefly before sighing, "Yes, Tamp is okay. I am okay. Everything is okay. Like I said before, it was just a small accident" he replies before glancing down at his spoiled shirt. "Now if you will excuse me, I have to take a shower." Sidestepping the boy he moves towards his walk-in closet.
