Two days later,

Mew walks into his room in the evening to find the room empty as usual. Keeping his things on the table, he slumps on the couch and loosens his tie. In two days, he has to fly to the States for a month for another project, so this week has been extra taxing since he is trying to finish all his work here before he has to leave.

He is in the middle of getting comfortable on the couch when the closet door opens and Gulf emerges.

"Oh, I was just using the bathroom," the boy hastily explains.

Mew rolls his eyes, it's not like he had refused him to use the bathroom, he just..."Never mind"  he shakes his head. Just then he remembers something, "Wait!" he calls out to the boy, who is just about to leave the room.

A hand on the doorknob, Gulf halts in his steps, before slowly turning to face him. Mew doesn't fail to notice how the boy flinches slightly when he stands up from his seat.

His lips purse in annoyance, but he fishes out his wallet and pulls out a credit card. "Here take this" he extends it to him.

The boy blinks at the card, and then slowly raises his eyes to his in question, not moving from his place. "His eyes are pretty without tears" he notes, but  as soon as it registers to him what he just thought, he smacks himself mentally. What the fuck was that?! His brain must be more tired than he thought for having such ridiculous thoughts!

And what the hell is this boy's problem? He is making him annoyed more than he already is by just standing there stupidly and not taking the freaking card.

"For what?" Gulf finally asks.

Mew frowns at his confused expression. Is this boy trying to play innocent now? God! He is already tired, he doesn't have time for this drama! Exasperated, he rolls his eyes, "For your expenses obviously!"

"Thank you, Mr. Suppasit,"

"Of course. Finally, showing his true colours."

"I appreciate your concern but I don't need it. Now, if you will, please excuse me."

Before Mew can process what just happened, the boy is out of the room, closing the door shut behind him. He blinks at the closed door, bringing his hand back to his side. The heck!

"Whatever!" he scowls. Dropping the card on the coffee table, he heads to the bathroom to shower.

Freshly showered when he exits his walk-in-closet his eyes fall on the steaming cup of coffee already waiting for him at the table. Thank God, for the small mercies! P'Fon is such an efficient lady. "I should give a raise to her" he decides, already in a good mood at the sight of his beloved coffee. Taking the coffee mug, he plops on the couch and pulls out his laptop to get some work done.

It's an hour later, he is so engrossed in his work he doesn't hear the balcony door open. So he frowns when the boy comes to stand before him, distracting him.

"Mr. Suppasit?"

"What?" irritated, he asks, without taking his eyes off his laptop.

"Uh...Can I take this?"

Confused at his words, Mew looks up and then follows Gulf's line of sight on the table. Right! The credit card. It's on the table, next to his laptop and files. He mentally scoffs, "What happened to that 'I don't need it' ?" But out loud, "Of course, it's yours. Take it" he smirks.

"Thank you and I am sorry to disturb you."

Mew's smirk turns into a frown when the boy moves his files "Hey! What the-"
