Morning, at work,

Gulf has been staring at his monitor screen, lost, all morning, barely getting any work done because his mind is somewhere else.

He has been thinking about...the lurking danger in his life.

Yesterday, he had been able to avoid thinking about it much, thanks to his friends and family, and Mew. But he can't avoid it forever, can he?

And well he isn't thinking about it because he is scared or something. No, it's just that a thought has been nagging him since the time everything about this has been discussed in Mew's study yesterday.

He has a doubt about the identity of the sender of the threats.

He was fully convinced that J is back to get him when Mew first mentioned him the other night. However, studying the threat letters closely and all the things happening last few months supposedly done by J, he is not sure that it is really J.

Now, he isn't doubting Mew, the threat letters were written in a way that anyone at his husband's place would derive the same conclusion; that it was sent by J. And he also understands why the letters don't have the name of the sender as J(?) wouldn't want his identity revealed, BUT there is no particular sign or clue that tells that it is from him indeed. They all are just generic threat letters, talking about him, but addressed to Mew. Which is also something he found very weird.

Why would J send the letters to Mew? Shouldn't it be sent to him? Considering it was sent to scare him...shouldn't they be sent to him directly? There are a lot of places where the letters can be delivered to him more easily than going through the tight security of Mew's office.

Yes, J was cunning enough to abduct him the first time but Gulf doubts that he is powerful enough to mess with Mew Suppasit, considering the police and now Mew too has been looking for him. He was just a vet and a crazy stalker. If he wanted to, he would be just as cowardly as the first time, trying to sneak an attack on him, and not risk provoking Mew in advance.

Also, there was this...dead pig.

As he had told Mew earlier, J was a vet, claiming his love for animals, especially his dog while he tortured him. It was all he talked about, preferring the company of animals rather than people because animals never said ''No" to him. They loved him back (as he claimed) as much as he loved them. So although Mew had dismissed this point yesterday, it's hard for him to believe that J could have butchered that poor pig that way just to give him a scare.
